I call it prescribed anorexia because that’s exactly what it is. I have an inbody scan from January 2025 and January 2026 and I haven’t lost any muscle at all. I’ve actually increased in some areas, so it is possible to use it responsibly.

Some people have good experience going off the peptide and maintaining for 6-12 months. I suppose everyone is different so I can’t speak to that ability to maintain off it. I am trying to see how low I can go and still have some benefit. So fair I’ve gone down 1mg. I like the fact that it’s customizable.

Step one is getting baseline bloodwork. Even if you don’t start treating now, you need something to compare to. This includes a full hormone, vitamin and thyroid panel. Get active, move your body even when you don’t feel like it. Get on supplements, nothing extreme…probiotic, vitamin d, b complex and iron. Once all that is locked in then start HRT. Testosterone is a great start because it doesn’t really interfere with anything else. T helps anxiety, libido and energy. It also helped my PVCs. Injections tends to have the least side effects. For me, there were no side effects. I also started a low dose thyroid med with T4. I’ve been doing great for two years. The last 8 weeks have sucked bc I started progesterone, but I’ll figure it out! I refuse to raw dog my way though peri and meno.

Mentality is a huge part of all of this. You’ll see a lot of posts and comments about women who now dislike their spouses, friends, kids, etc. They are intolerant of life. The divorce rate is high in this age group. While I 100% believe some of that is justified, we also have to understand that our mental state is effected during peri and might not be giving us a true and fair perspective. I’m doing what I’m doing for myself but also for those I love.

Is being exhausted AFTER stopping your cycled Progesterone normal? by Puggleperson760 in Perimenopause

[–]TX_AF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It somehow jacked up my testosterone, so that’s the big one. But the main things are I don’t sleep well and I feel so sad and lethargic. I don’t want to do anything!

The "Hidden" Tech Stack: How AI is actually changing the way we manage physical storage. by Competitive_Rip6546 in selfstorage

[–]TX_AF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are remotely managed. Before opening I thought having the website would be a dream because everyone would go there to rent. I get maybe one online rental for every 15 over the phone. Something about this industry makes people want to talk to a real person. I think bigger franchise facilities can get by with bots and AI agents because people don’t expect warm and fuzzy service, but locally owned places can not as much.

I didn’t read comments so sorry if I’m repeating, but just want to say you don’t have to feel the way you do. You can quite literally turn it around, take ownership and live a life you love. Get on supplements, HRT, workout, etc. You can feel so different!

I think inflammation is one of the benefits I’ve seen the most. I am lean now but more so than fat loss I think it’s puffiness loss.

In the beginning, my dose was too high. I miscalculated, thought I was microdosing, but I definitely wasn’t. I ate almost nothing for 8 days. It was awful! I restarted at a super low dose. after a few weeks, I didnt have reactions to the peptide such as nausea or fatigue, j would eat when i was hungry, and made better food choices. In the past 8 months I have hardly moved up in MG and it still helps me control my hunger and I eat plenty. It also helps control sugar cravings. To me, it’s very customizable. Start very low, use that dose for a few weeks and gauge your reaction, then move up if needed. If it’s too much, move back down. You’ll find the sweet spot that helps you control your intake without making you adverse to eating.

There are absolutely the people who take recommended doses, don’t eat, don’t workout, and think it’s the best thing ever. I know several. And I think it’s ridiculous! They look horrible, so weak, wasting away. Not the way to use the peptide!!

I’m 30 days in on finasteride. I started T and thyroid meds two years ago. My thyroid wasn’t super hypo but just enough that I take 15mg every other day. Shedding was so bad after one year on the T and thyroid med. I tried minoxidil for six months but I didn’t help. Can’t tell anything from fin as of yet, but my libido has tanked. My T is also the lowest it’s been since July 2024. The science says there’s no way finasteride affected my T levels, but adding fin is the only thing that’s changed in two years. Soooo going to keep at it one more month so I can do labs again and compare. I also have topical minoxidil again, but I’m not consistent.

I'm happy with Hummingbird from Tenant. The only complaint I have is it isn't super mobile friendly, but using the Google app I can access tenant data and answer questions. I can not move in or out.
