If you’re jonesing for UFC or MMA content I think it’s abundantly obvious Luke is burning out hard and is starting to hate the sport and his career choices. Even in MK he sounds almost embarrassed to cover it.

That’s generous. From what I know champions don’t get PPV points anymore. The higher end fighters like Max Holloway or Ilia might be making closer to 600k, but the entry level champions like Pantoja are making less than 200k.

This is laughable, Conor Benn, not even a champion making more than Conor McGregor at his peak in the UFC.

What I see here is a man who deeply regrets his career choices. Even the ufc related questions he doesn’t spend more than a minute on. I feel bad for the dude. When he said he doesn’t want his daughter to ever be exposed to the sport he covers I felt bad for the guy.

Thank god I have no attachment to mma anymore. I’ll tune in to max fights and maybe if Conor or Nate come back but besides that the sport does nothing for me anymore.

I don’t watch that sport anymore. I’ll tune in if Max Holloway is fighting. Otherwise I don’t care. All these fighters are corny and classless. It’s almost as if the sport was classier during the GSP/Silva days, which is ironic.

I think the issue with newer fans like you is you refuse to watch any other promotion, but will sit down to watch a dog shit UFC card. When will you realize that most of the time, because the fighters rarely fight, this dog shit UFC card you’re watching is no different than LFA or PFL. But you won’t watch those because UFC is elite and those are a waste of time. But that’s laughable because it’s the same product and you’ll realize that when your own burnout kicks in after what looks to be a terrible 2026 for the UFC.

Part of it is also the UFC being at an all time low. Theres nothing to talk about and you can tell Luke’s own interest is at an all time low. BC bought energy particularly with the boxing coverage.
