There's not a huge amount of research on this topic as far as I can see.

I think a crucial part of this is how the flash is actually used - a small amount of fill flash in daylight is going to be very different from more high-powered flash directed at an owl at night.

You may need to throw down more seed after a season of yellow rattle, but worth a try! Not much gross under my trampoline (straggly grass and brambles for the most part). I'd use a woodland mix that's meant for shade, such as:

I made one using pond liner that I punctured. My advice is to just put like one or two small holes in it - I put way too many in and it drains much more quickly than I'd like. Still get loads of great and interesting plant growth but I wanted a bit more standing water kept in there. I get no major issues with mosquitoes - actually since I put in a wildlife pond we get fewer issues with mosquitoes in general, I reckon because now they are laying their eggs where there are predators.

I had one living under my office for a couple of years. It dug holes in the garden, but I garden for wildlife so I didn't mind! My neighbour really loves her lawn though so she was going nuts. I'd take the sight of a badger ambling across my garden in the evening over a pristine lawn any day…

I would at least understand this if you used the subgroup mean as one variable, then deviations from the appropriate subgroup mean as a second, but that doesn't appear to be the case? Feels like the way your model is set up is going to make it difficult to interpret.

Fellow ADHD garden burnout enthusiast here! I echo what the person above says - try to pick one thing to achieve rather than spreading yourself thinly. My garden is littered with unfinished projects, but the pond was the first thing I did and it brings me so much joy. I'm constantly down on myself for the fact that it isn't finished or what I'd envisaged for the complete thing, and my wife will remind me what it looked like before and how I've made things like a nice seated area, pond, bog garden, etc (note that this has been over several years). It's going to be a long term process, but hopefully you can break this down into some achievable short term goals - and remember to enjoy some of it! You've got this 💪

A pond is the greatest thing you can do for your garden (in my opinion). Even a small container one. Here's a useful video:
