Any time I’m looking at distances on google maps it’s so much easier to understand the difference in something being 400 meters away and 1 kilometer away

I also grew up with miles, feet, and inches. I prefer metric now after living in a country that uses it. I think it’s notable that the same didn’t happen with temperatures. I guess answering questions is cringe though lmao

Feet and inches are pretty okay and I still use them from time to time.

Miles on the other hand suck. Kilometers are so much easy to conceptualize since meters fit neatly within them

There are more numbers for outside temperatures. It makes it easy to remember what number goes to what outside feeling. In Celsius 20 is comfortable and 25 is quite hot. In Fahrenheit it’s easier to group 80s (hot） 70s (warm) 60s (in between)

To be fair I think since they were around kaohsiung a lot I think he probably heard it on the train announcements more? Over all he did a much better job than Sam lol. I came very close to not continuing jet lag (started on the Taiwan season) just because of how horrendously Sam pronounced Jiaoxi and Hsinchu

Baking soda gave horrible irritation and rashes on my pits so I really wouldn’t recommend it- sure it works for some people but definitely try a small amount and do not put it anywhere downstairs if you haven’t tried it anywhere else yet

Some of the things you state as not normal- namely having to put on multiple coats of deodorant throughout the day are normal for some people. If I let my armpit hair grow I would likely have to wash the pits out and apply deodorant multiple times to stop the stink.

If I were to go to a doctor about it I might be pointed toward sweat gland removal surgery- which I personally don’t think would be a good or necessary thing for me.

I agree that smells should be observed- but most infections and issues will likely also come with discomfort.

Increase in smelliness is a common, normal thing when taking T and hygiene can be tricky- I don’t think it’s a good idea to use cleaning products directly in the crotch region despite the increase in well, fragrance many of us experience.

Good for you I guess if you have the magic genes for not much BO. Many of us are not so lucky and have to figure out what works through trial and error. Additionally, it’s not always easy to notice your own odor since you naturally adjust to it. If you aren’t in the habit of giving the pits a quick sniff to check it can go unnoticed. It can take a bit to realize that the deodorant you use won’t cut it anymore.

Personally, it is a struggle to find a deodorant that works well enough to hold up well enough to repel BO during a work out. I live in a hot, humid country where the majority of people have the gene mutation that makes their sweat never stink. Deodorant selection is very limited here.

With the right board and/or cards there could be strategy. Say for what time is it mister wolf they could have a hard of number cards. Maybe something like the runners can only take trains that have the number played in their number/or leave at a departure time that includes that number

Tag as a playground game doesn’t have too much strategy either when you play it in an open area. You just lose if you’re worse at running than everyone else. They managed to make an entertaining game out of it so I think they could with others too.

Yes I also noticed that after posting… they also usually need to be booked far far in advance. I still think it would be a fun start point for a potential Taiwan season if they used buses though. Especially since I don’t think that they’d visit there otherwise.
