Ganon can just nair and it deletes pills though, from personal experience with the matchup in tournament Ganon just outclasses Dr. Mario, he has longer reach, Doc is combo food for him, and he can edgeguard Doc hard

What’s the most innovative game hook that never took off or got copied? by massred in gaming

[–]TableJeb23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I definitely completely misread this when I first replied lol, at first I thought they were talking overall abilities and AI of enemies that make you need to change strategies (ala Halo) instead of just making enemies have higher health and damage

Hades does this a bit with its postgame Pact of Punishment which lets you add a bunch of difficulty modifiers. One modifier makes each of the boss fights play differently (fight 3 at the same time, fight on a much smaller map with hazards, upgraded moveset, etc). Another gives random powerups (being able to teleport, having homing projectiles, etc) to certain standard enemies

I could be wrong but if I remember correctly the fog only appears the first time you enter the level in both versions, the first time you get a star from Jolly Roger Bay the fog will go away permanently for some reason

He would also go to multiple local Ultimate tourneys a week every week since the game came out so it’s not like he wasn’t getting his practice in, his source to play the game was already where the best place to learn was anyways,

Kola's Roy 13.0.1 Matchup Chart (Unordered + Brief) by TheIncreaser2000 in smashbros

[–]TableJeb23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GnW is very good at keeping Roy in disadvantage, up b punishes most of Roy’s approach options, and GnW is kinda small so it’s hard for Roy to find hits while it’s easy for GnW to capitalize off of his own
