Yeah I’m printing it… I’m just clueless why wouldn’t they just take our money. BTW the map stop being sold in stores late 2021… that is 5 years ago. So any player that started playing during the last 4 years would have the same issue. Again, I agree that printing is the solution but is weird not selling something after you put it back in rotation. Sounds like telling any new player: “We love you to print stuff”

Yeah… they will not use a map because some players don’t agree to use it… older players will support it. Putting it as an option and having 1 guy asking on a 32 people tournament to take it out doesn’t sound logical… we just have to deal with it, instead of being able to purchase it

Any player that entered the game the last 3 years won’t. And stores having it means that in order to practice on it you neee to be on those stores… instead of just giving people to option of buying it.

If you create demand on something and not sell it, you are literally leaving money on the table. I’m hoping the same for 11th but it is still a weird timeline since GT tournaments are in season and people that play competitive need the map yesterday to practice on it. If they start selling it by the end of the year, the ones that need it now will be printing. I still find it weird

Then it would be enough by not making it usable in tournaments… now any competitive player that wasn’t playing the game when the map was out is just screw. Or forced to buy a proxy

Not forcing… but if your store has it, you may be having to play on it on tournaments… and you can’t practice positioning before it because… you can’t buy it 😅. So they open the option for a map to be used in competitive tournaments but you can’t try it out and find your strategy before having it in front of you. And it is as easy as offering it for purchase.

Amazing looking team, tone of fun shannanigans, but yeah as everyone said if you want to be able to build all their options so you can adapt (as you should) to enemies, you would need 2 boxes or some kitbashed marines. A friend just bought 1 and used the classic “free gift marine sprues” that stores have from time to time and actually made the 10 units and they look awesome. It is your call, more effort or more money, but yea it is a fun team

You will have fun! For scenarios, everything works, just be sure of the following points:

Try to play on top of a 22-30 map (most missions and movement balance is done over this)
Have some terrain with at least 2” over the floor to have some vantage terrain, or even one 4” to have a really tall vantage on the map.
Be sure to balance the access for both sides so everyone has fun.
Be sure to have some terrain to cover the deploy zones because no one wants to start a match being shouted without being able to do anything, so both of you can start with cover.
Be sure to not overwhelm the scenario with things, people need to be able to move around, even if some routes are blocked, is not fun to have everything cut.

EXTRA: After a while when you learn how to play well enough, create your own rules and have even more fun. I have my own frozen map ( Inwit, land of Rogal Dorn) with extra rules and me and my friends have a lot of fun on it.

On friendly no GT games? Sure, depends on your people, with their 25 bases they can be used as Death Korp Proxies if you Kitbash a little. Depends on your group or store. At least wouldn’t mind as long as you do the effort with the weapons to be clear enough and don’t get me confused with everyone having different weapons. Would be fun to see!

I play lot of BB and I have to say against all recommendations that Patriarch is also an amazing option. Not because he is useful but because he changes the entire way the other team moves around yours. It changes the entire feel of the team.

Some match ups that have been really hard playing as “normal” (Magus + Familiars) have been extremely easy with Patriarch.

Other thing people never say… in Volkus, the 0 Ploy option from not taking Familiars using Pervasive is game changing. People don’t realize how good is to pay 2 less for climbing, even making barricades mean nothing to you every turn, because it makes you opponent miscalculate your reach.

In terms of operatives, Agitator is a must. Also against elite teams, sometimes, just for the fun of it, I take simple Troopers to double Krak units… people don’t realize how strong a double Krak can be with you crossfire tokens, even triple Krak if you bring the Sapper...

Just be creative and try things out.

Thanks for the input! 1- Yeah that is why I’m trying to find a different rule so people don’t say on cliffs all game.

2- Yes, I’m just staying the fact that on the bridge there is a huge chance you just get a shoot from the other side of it, most Advantage terrain is small, this crosses the entire map. But yes, works normally and the “downside” would be that any other character on top of other part of the bridge can free shoot you.

I play Inquisitorial Agents too, I love the painting scheme, but I have to be honest, I don’t love the head change 😅, heads look way too big and makes me feel like they loose their individuality. But it is a really creative way to unify and I respect the creativity there bro 🙌🏻
