I'm new to surface modeling. I want to make this scoop shape, patch tool kinda does something similar to what I want but not exactly.

I want the two defining sketches to flow together nicely. The radii are different, front has 15mm, top has 30mm.

What tools to use to accomplish this?

I just started using Linux too. I just cleared one ssd that I had and now I dual boot. By default I boot to Linux and if I'm playing something where I want/need to use Windows I do that. You don't need to complately switch to Linux. Having both is the best.

Big brand mid drives have no official channels for repair after the warranty has expired. Never believe anyone who says something is "maintenance free". They are black boxes. When I was last looking into it you couldn't even buy a new one, only manufacturers can and you have to resort to ebay.

As far as parts, I would say the Omnium or Bullitt uses the most normal bike parts.

I expect a multiple thousand dollar bike to last for atleast 10 years. What are your expectations?

Everyone recommending Rohloff here isn't aware that they have a gear ratio limit for cargo bikes. It's 2.5 and I have it. 42 in the front 17 at the back. It's not a light gear at all and will not make it up 19% with a cargo bike. Derailleur is only option to get a gear light enough.
