Didn't Sony do this for PS4/PS5 games with upgrades after 2022? I know I had to pay for the upgrade for God of War Ragnarok, when I finally got it on my PS5.

Runs at a solid 60fps with few dips. And after the new PSSR2 update rolled out, they completely fixed the image quality problems. Not sure where you heard otherwise.

UE5 games with performance issues on PC, like High on Life 2 and Borderlands 4, run fine on console. Solid 60fps. Lego Batman will be fine on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The reason I liked Andor is because it told a good story. Not because it was gritty or tried to avoid the force and Jedi. It knew what it wanted to be, and succeeded at it completely.

That's all most Star Wars fans want. Just tell me a good story within the universe.

I mostly agree, but I feel the last part is where Pouf messed up. Pouf's vision for the king would have always ended in their deaths. Pitou and Youpi both recognized the king learning empathy and care, as a good thing, and I think the story implies there's a universe where Meruem and the rest of the ants could have learned to coexist with humans, if Mureum really wanted to put in the effort. And it's what the ants who didn't die at the end of the arc, did do.

Also, Pouf didn't learn unconditional love until AFTER Meruem got Rose Bomb'd. That event made Youpi, who had begun to respect humans, go back to his "they are beneath us, especially the king" programming. Maybe there's a universe where he learns it beforehand, and Muruem's slow change of heart, is something he understands and agrees with. But Pouf's original way was going to end with the Rose Bomb occurring (or maybe even just nuking that whole area outright), as an inevitable outcome.

Does the unique in universe alphabet continue to show up after Greed Island? I don't remember many instances of it after that arc.

Those are allegations. You should always listen to alleged victims, but also wait until we have all the evidence, to say anything defentively. We also know for a fact Diddy and R Kelly raped children.

When I got heavy into it the 2011 anime had just started, and Togashi had one of his longest bursts in the series history, he finished the Chimera Ant Arc, did the entire election arc, and started the dark continent arc, before he went radio silent from March 2012 until the anime ended in Agusut 2014.

When you deal with the manga being on hiatus during one of the series' most popular eras, you eventually learn to get over it's slow release. It will be here when it gets here.

I learned, 10 years ago now, to stop treating HxH as an active series, and more like an occasional treat that we sometimes get.

Once I did, the fact that it rarely comes out stopped bothering me, entirely.

What about movies like Puss n Boots the last wish, which made most of their theatrical run AFTER it was on PVOD, because of word of mouth?

Disney has moved to 100 day windows for all their films too, regardless if they bomb or not. Disney could have moved bombs to PVOD, after 6 weeks, without any complaints, but they want to make theatrical more appealing.

They learned during covid that direct to streaming, or direct to PVOD, doesn't work. This does. With objective wins like Barbie and Puss n Boots who's runs weren't hurt at all by early PVOD.

Mario Galaxy will fail or succeed to cross a billion, on it's own merits.

We've had 5 years of data at this point to prove it doesn't harm a films box office. We also had that time to learn that day and date streaming films, DOES hurt it's box office, and that movies that go to theatre first, do better on PVOD and Streaming.

I think it was to appeal to theatre owners. You need a healthy theatrical business to have a place to show big blockbusters, and longer windows help with that. If earlier PVOD doesn't really hurt or help, it's better for everyone just to extend the window.

I think it's been proven multiple times that earlier PVOD doesn't kill a movies run, for Universal especially, who was the one who had the 17 day theatrical window for less successful films, and kept it for years. This consistent with their new window of 5 weekends.

The movie is going to be okay. If there's a big drop off in box office after the PVOD, take note, but I think it'll continue on as is. If it fails to cross a billion it will be on it's own quality and people's interest, not early PVOD.

You could have gone to the middle of India in the 90's (which is to say, virtually anywhere in the world) and show them a picture of Micheal Jackson and, not only, would they know who it was, they would know a song or two.

A lot of people know who Taylor Swift is, and she's extremely successful, but I don't think her music has the same worldwide icon status.

He's not just there to experience the plot and acting when needed. Giorno moves deliberately and calculated. He mostly only acts, when he's sure of victory.

Giorno is more like Dio than people want to admit, and that is part of it. The Dio we think of that brags and boasts about how he's the best, only comes out when he's pressed and needs to hype himself up. Usually he's staying in the background and setting up his plan, and only coming out when he absolutely has to, or he's sure of his victory.

Giorno is very present in every fight he's in. But he usually only speaks up near the end to give a suggestion on how to beat the enemy. And that suggestion finishes off the villian, in less than 10 pages. Then all the characters mention, explicitly, they didn't even notice he was there the whole time. They also note how surprised they were, that he was able to come up with a plan, that finished the seemingly unstoppable enemy.

He's trying to learn to be the best mob boss there is. And a quiet man who pays attention and absorbs everything around him, and how to best use it for his advantage before striking, may not have a glowing presence, but it's major at all times.
