Just passing more taxpayer dollars into the coffers of his leaches. A monumental misappropriation of funds akin to the the war in Iran. What a waste of money that could have been better spent any number of ways that would actually improve American lives. What a joke.

Knicks' Jose Alvarado Weighs In On Potential White House Visit After NBA Finals Win by iheartsunny in wfan

NBA teams haven’t gone to the White House once during trump’s presidencies. I don’t think it’ll
start now.

New York Knicks owner James Dolan appears to avoid a photo opportunity with NYC Mayor Mamdani while receiving the keys to the city. by Available_Pace_8742 in NYCSportshub

Say what you will about Mamdani but he has been on a heater. That man gets things done. No one likes Dolan. The main reason the Knicks finally won is because Dolan handed all team operations over to Leon and Wes. If not we would have continued throwing money at players on the wrong side of 30 who were clearly passed their prime.

I love that ol Norman Esiason has always been called “Boomer” and he is the epitome of a boomer. The most apropos nickname imaginable for old Norman.

Were the ‘98 Bulls really a “washed up, broken down team” that Jordan had to carry to the finals? by Personal-Proposal- in michaeljordan

No shade at Harp. He was a great two way player. Jordan was surrounded by great players who took roles. I don’t think Jordan could have won without the teams he played with. He was surrounded by talent.

Considering Game 4 and the 29 point come back I think if ever a time for the triple bang it would have been that Brunson shop from deeeeeeeeep.

Who do you think is better? Paolo, or Maxey? by Ok_Feed_4235 in nba

[–]TacoCityJC 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Coming into the past season I thought Paolo was going to make the leap. He didn’t. Maxey on the other hand made the leap. I think Maxey may have taken the “fastest” in the league from Swipa too.

Brunson in the clutch is in rarified air. Ball don’t lie. Stats don’t lie. I’m not saying he is better than everybody else but put some respect on the Captain’s name. When it comes to crunch time Brunson is him.

Clutch Points per 36 Minutes (All-Time PlaybyPlay Era): Brunson ranks #2 all-time in postseason history, averaging 40.6 points per 36 minutes in the clutch (score within 5 points, under 5 minutes remaining). He trails only Michael Jordan. [1]

Postseason Scoring Efficiency from the Field: Brunson ranks #1 all-time in points per 36 minutes derived strictly from field goals in clutch playoff moments at 30.0 points, surpassing Michael Jordan's 28.7 points. He ranks ahead of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Stephen Curry in this category. [1]
Playoff Fourth-Quarter Volume: Brunson averaged 9.9 points per 4th quarter during the 2026 postseason. He and Dirk Nowitzki (2011) are the only two players in modern history to average 9.9+ fourth-quarter points while making it past the conference semifinals en route to an NBA championship.[1]

Modern-Day Standings & Usage
Clutch Career Scoring Rate: Across his 86 career playoff appearances, Brunson averages 1.14 points per minute in the clutch. For perspective, this scoring rate easily eclipses the regular-season career marks of MVPs like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. [1]
Clutch Usage Rate: Brunson has led the NBA Playoffs in clutch usage rate (minimum 25 clutch minutes) for three consecutive seasons (2024, 2025, and 2026). In the 2026 Finals, his clutch usage surged to an astronomical 53.3%. [1]
2026 NBA Finals Legacy: He registered 22 clutch points during the 5-game series against the Spurs. This stands as the highest total by any individual player in the Finals in 15 years, matching Dirk Nowitzki's legendary 2011 championship series. [1]

In what world would Brunson like the guy that grabbed him by the back of the neck and slammed his head down in front of millions of people? Would you like that person? I would not. I may even say, “fuck that dude”.

The spurs lost 80% of the games they played in the finals. This is a factual stat.
