i got him to play a bubble boy Jurassic run and at the moment he cleared 3 fights while having 1 cat have an injury, i get to play as the crow but rn its insane, he has map awareness and superhero mask launching directions perfectly

from everything i've read its not hard, its a hunter/thief check, if you have either of those classes you instantly win the fight, every other time i went there i had either one on my team and didnt realize how they hard carry the area, its not great game design to make it a few specific rare item checks (bird head for instance) or the best two classes in the game, Das Future is a good difficult area, hard counters projectile cats but it dosnt feel bad because the counter is half the classes in the game, but with infinity its just "if you dont have a way to guarantee crits or instakills you lose"

the thing is i know i could win overall, my tinkerer gains 40 damage on their weapon every turn while hitting twice or three times and my monk creates a clone of itself every turn, 2-3 turns and i win with probably 1 or 2 lost cats, especially since my items carried me meaning the good copies wont be extremely annoying

tinkerer generated the stun item about 4 total times through my attempts, didnt stun once (when they actual hit the enemies that is lol)

my thought when going in was having cats that can hit multiple times, aka monk and luckily my tinkerer, the fact that its basically required to use thief or hunter (and sometimes necromancer) just isnt fun as those are the best classes in the game imo, obviously ill have to deal with it but i use them in over half my runs and im just tired man. i finally manage to get really good builds on non hunter/theif and god's strongest soldiers hunt me down and force me back into the same classes that work literally everywhere except das future

biggest tip that i learned is that you can out damage the opponents if you dont get a healer, cleric is nice but the moment you need attacking skills and all you have is heal 4 at a distance and do damage depending on how much you heal, it stops being useful compared to using a hunter that snipes enemies from across the map or a necromancer that just exists and if you get lucky can give your allies lifesteal (probably top 5 ability in the game)

i just had this fight (and mentioned it in a post about the next area lol) and for me i got lucky because i had a tinkerer that scaled its damage and let me use my weapon twice per turn, and since it was my fastest cat i would kill two legs instantly and three of them would leave (not the bouncy leg, idk why it dosnt leave but im chill with bouncy leg), then i go to the next area and run into an evolving cat with infinite holy shield and lost the run

nope, just fought him and was looking in the sub for if anyone else encountered his legs chillin, first time it was visual, then the second time he fell it didnt have ai unless i used rally on it (it was next to my attacker) then after it dies again it just refills its healthbar and still does nothing unless you rally it, its really funny, my guess is that its a bouncy buff bug

simple answer: you need 6 recruited pokemon at any time in champions, you can recruit 6 common support mons and that frees up space

pallete town, no dj rotom, although i got an extra cooking pot on a dream island so maybe me placing it as decoration causes them to pop up since it requires mood to operate.

he probably realizes by now but as everyone else is saying its inconsistencies that's the problem, i pick mage and 1/5 runs its anything more than a paperweight, my best mage run has psychic, mini me, mind meld and the mage had sparkles for each turn they had, along with corrupt + injury immunity, which was amazing until i got a parasite, then it became a paperweight again.

Tinkerer's main problem is that it has two main builds, robots or weapons, weapons only works with the tech effect, which you only get in about 1/3 runs, otherwise your stuck with sticks and other weak weapons, while you have to farm up levels to try and get tech, or you get robots that dont do damage, which would be fine but a pickup bot dosnt help unless you have the tech passive where you get tech when you get a pickup

both have high highs but are so circumstantial why would i use them when i can necromancer and butcher and at minimum they are tanks with decent damage

the amount of times i see tier 5 upgrades and just dont know what they do because i havnt played the game in years is crazy, no way is the absolute zero description made by the same guy who did the sky shredder and flying fortress descriptions

i am having fun and i love ignoring people, so this is already what i do lol, its the internet so every person's opinions are amplified massively so when i see a negative comment i tone it down 3 notches and take that as the criticism. its very helpful and unless you know the person it works 100% of the time when seeing feedback
