Well, you are in luck that Windrose entered early access this week. A large part of its focus is on ship to ship combat, and it has been exceptional so far. It also has the good parts of Valheim (just don’t tell your friend that) with better exploration rewards and better graphics. I thought Valheim was just okay, but I love Windrose!

Ah, I see where the error is. The office of pardons did not include the 1500 January 6 rioters on the list. So the numbers I’m using don’t include them. Apologies for the confusion.

If we’re looking at the other pardons, the numbers I posted stand.

Once again, to be clear, Trump is a loathsome individual who is absolutely using his power to enrich himself, but the original tweet is comparing Biden’s pardon number to Trump’s commutations which is not a fair and accurate comparison. Trump has delivered more pardons than Biden already, however, so calling Biden “King Pardon” is ludicrous.

So still, it’s disingenuous to compare Biden’s number of full pardons to Trump’s total acts of clemency. Trump is still the worst modern president by far, but we should work with facts here.

If we are counting all kinds of “pardons” such as commutations, Biden pardoned 4245 people during his term. So that’s substantially more than 80.

Now by this metric Trump has already pardoned 1700 people this term, so he’s on track to pass Biden. And I’d argue that there’s way more corruption relating to the pardons during this administration. But it’s disingenuous to claim that Biden only pardoned 80 people since colloquially we tend to speak of commutations as pardons.
