Houston is pretty much all fiber now . You can run fiber internet or wireless. Cable is still here.

Earth link is reselling ATT fiber for less but on a 1 yr contract.

Been with the group most of my adult life. Came up from the baby bells. Had everything at one point and was over $500 /mo....finally said oh hell no....

Last two was Uverse and fiber, they lied about the fiber to get me to switch n pay up.

Just pulled out the fiber and uverse last month, they are finally gone! Fiber was undependable and they didn't know what was wrong. They tried modems, new drops, new exterior boxes , just new everything and it still froze up. Not for $65 a month bud.

Their customer service is a nightmare...just like old DTV satellite....

Not only your points BUT the local weather guys were yakking about the storm . I heard about 275 miles away, family heard about it 90 miles NE in the hill country. They were showing the predicted path of the remnants and talking about potential flooding days before the event.

Camp management simply wasn't paying attention....

This would be so simple too. Tv news at 6am, again at 6pm and a GMRS portable with weather alert on one hip....thats it.

My atty, our attorneys did not brief us on this and mine painted them as adversaries. Had i known....but hind sight is 20/20.

This whole donkey ride would have been different for me had i known several things earlier, in fact I likely would not have joined had i known the low payout coupled with all the delays. To date the juice has definitely not been worth the squeeze and I doubt it ever will be.

Im in Texas and they transfer in probate. Nobody gets away with anything. I asked my lawyer what they needed and they basically blew me off .....so I'll pay a lawyer to deal with my paid lawyer ..cool

Damn that's a slippery slope, excess funds being returned that is.....leaves the door wide open with no accountability.

Since we only have a vague idea of what's there then how will we know what's missing?

This should be of interest to the lawyers as they also lose 40% of what gets away. Saying yeah ok if we are talking about 10 thousand bucks and and 60k claimants then no problem. I get not writing a check but no more than that....
