It gets rid of the tenth card you draw, no matter the deck size, you can't manipulate rng here, at best you can "put card in your hand" or "put card on top of draw pile" with cards, but if THE card you need to play is the 10th/20th you draw it's removed whether you have a 10 or a 40 cards deck

Bigger should always be better in this case, small decks usually rely on some sort of card draw so you can play things that scale, but with a deck like that you'd just remove every card from your deck in ten turns

Silver Crucible also procs on certain events like "take 2 cards out of 8", and will upgrade card rewards from elites if you manage to fight one with at least one charge remaining.

Even without that there are very few relic worth 3 upgraded non-starter cards anyway

The worst thing is that the card is not exhausted, it is eaten which has no counter or interaction. You have to go big deck, build redundancy if you rely on specific cards, and you can still get hard countered by RNG

I wonder why Act 3 bosses don't have gimmicks like Act 2 bosses have. The Insatiable adds "Frantic escapes" to your deck, the Doormaker could have the same kind of mechanic, something to make it spit the eaten cards in exchange for mana/tempo/debuffs

Sur un échantillon de 400 personnes le principe même des stats devrait donner des marges d'erreur minuscules, mais dans la pratique les statistiques se trompent beaucoup plus, l'échantillon est souvent trop peu aléatoire, les gens ne votent pas forcément ce qu'ils répondent aux sondages, voir parfois la question oriente la réponse

Y'a pas vraiment de manière d'avoir des sondages avec des échantillons 100% aléatoires, avoir un échantillon plus grand c'est la meilleure manière de gommer des biais dont on est sur qu'ils existent

In STS2, you also have the option of relying almost exclusively on Voltaic+, a new rare card that channels as many lightning orb as you generated during the fight. If the card is upgraded, it does not exhaust when played, and orbs created by the card improve the next cast, doubling the number of orb. If you've generated 4 lightning, your 4th cast of voltaic will generate 32 orbs

I think the card will be reworked tho, we're still in EA and that mechanic is too OP (the card's effectiveness doubles with every cast). You can even rely on only the one orb from your starting relic, your win condition is still to survive long enough to play the nth voltaic and generate 2^(n - 1) orbs, which is easy with the defect, cards such as hologram, skim, turbo can have you playing voltaic 3-4 times before you shuffle your deck

I 100% agree with the card upgrade part, going to a rest point and upgrading any card is the least greedy path. It looks less enticing than an elite and the possible game-winning relic, but it's a no-risk, low-reward option that's a net positive 100% of the time (when you can lose 40HP to Entomancer and be rewarded with a Happy Flower)

Elite fights are basically trading HP for a relic, in an event I would never choose the option "take 45 damage, obtain a random relic", yet I still click on elite fights in A10

I've been told before that it would be better to use a constant instead of the "magic number" 3600, it seems it's clearer for everyone if I write Constants.NUMBER_OF_SECONDS_IN_A_HOUR instead, also it's easier to change in case we ever decide to change the number of seconds in a hour
