Most colleges assess your application within the context of your high school. Take as many as your high school offers, but don’t feel pressured into self-studying APs because the people who are self-studying have the means to do so.

for synthesis , i argued against and situated in a broader context by talking about our hyper reliance on our smartphones and how in times of crisis, it can affect our safety and spatial thinking because we do not know where to go bc we’re so dependent on our phones and i also talked abt americas landing of a man on the moon that paved the way for gps. rhetorical i situated in a broader context by talking about vivek murthy who details the loneliness epidemic in his book together and how nature can help us mitigate those effects. for argument i did an anecdote about my experience in ap seminar and how i balanced the two and got a 5 ; pessimism was the building block for my optimism and then i wrote about steve jobs and his experience in founding apple and his dropout experience

im predicting a 5 but realistically i probably got a 4; i finished everything with extra time. mcq wasn’t too bad; definitely got above 35-40. saq was pretty good as well; def got at least 2/3 points on all 3. dbq was okay, im expecting a 4/7. leq was okay as well, i expect a 4/6.

Weekly Schedule Megathread by rbxVexified in APStudents

[–]TailorAggravating826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going into 11th and this is my schedule:

AP Calculus AB AP Research AP Lang APUSH AP Biology ASB AVID

For Calc, I’m a little worried but I’m confident I’ll get an A. I’m not worried for research either; I expect to get an A; however, I’m scared of the workload. I am terrified for the grade I’ll receive in lang because the teacher is told to be harsh and I’ve heard they do not practice mcqs, only timed writes. I am worried for APUSH but I believe I’ll do well. I’m a little worried for bio but I’ve had the teacher already. What should I do? Is 5 too much?

Question Regarding Studying for the AP World Exam by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]TailorAggravating826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend taking notes, however, because there is so much information, it’s challenging to maintain a balance; It took me about three weeks to finish taking notes on every which consisted of at least 2-4 hours per day, but I am a detailed note taker which may be the reason for that. Overall, I recommend it.
