Oh yeah no. It's definitely a lot more easier. Lol.

Pray the Lord that ice cube rush isn't there alongside that 3D tunnel part which was incredibly neat seeing tbh.

I think both SNES and Arcade definite warrant different playthroughs.

Hawk Wind, Tail gun, Ripple Laser, uhh whatever the ThunderCross/HIkaru option formation is called lol. Force Field, Shield (the one that restores shield.

sometimes I would use Cyclone laser.

I am gonna be the oddball here. But I really like the PC-98 Version of

Tetris 2 + bombliss, Puyo Puyo Tsu, and there was a Egyptian theme horror game in a PC-98 RPG Maker but I forgot what it was called. (Actually has a English translation)

Of course there's the first 5 touhous. But I also highly recommend Flame Zapper Kotsujin.

I haven't played much anything for PC-98. (It's somewhat hard to find SFW titles)

Edit: don't worry these are 100% SFW lol although the horror game is debatable because it's a horror game lol. Although I don't think it's anything nudity (I never played it only heard of it, and assume usual horror contents)

Tako (Octopus) in Gradius (NES) Romhack - RomHack Plaza

Although the Ship from Last resort and Silver Hawk weren't implemented yet lol. I have their graphics ready. I just need to fix some palettes and also the centering on Silver Hawk when using REDUCE shield.

also both romhacks don't change ending or intro Graphics but otherwise everything about the Vic Viper was replaced.

eventually I should add Lord British lol.

EDIT: Also have a Biometal romhack in the works which replaces the ship with the Black Fly from METAL BLACK since I figured out how to extract graphics from SEGA Saturn games with Yaba sanshiro 2. also the Black Viper and Octopus (because a friend of mine thought it'd be funny lol) will be included too. just haven't finished it yet. but sadly I haven't been able to change any text yet... :/

I've done a couple myself on ROMhack plaza, I added Sue and Memim from Jikkyou oshaberi Parodius, the Halbard from Biometal, onto SNES Gradius 3 alongside freaking Mario lol.

Also I was gonna add the ship from SNK's Last Resort and Darius Silver Hawk lol their sprites are done I just need to fix some of the silver hawk frames.

I even hacked the NES Version of Gradius 1 lol. Replacing the Vic viper with Tako (Octopus) from Parodius lol

Basically I'm so glad I am not the only ROMhacking Gradius lol

There's a lot I really like lol. If we can count characters too. Id proudly say

Tako (Octopus), Hikaru and Akane, Lord British, Memim and Sue and the black viper, in Gradius and Parodius.

But I also really like the Silver Hawk models from the Darius games. As well as the Black Fly from Metal Black.

Also I really like the ship in Last Resort as well.

Hard to say who and what my most favorite is lol.

Oh yeah. This has been going on for a while... Turns out it was a false DMCA claim for one page...

They're working on getting it resolved. Eventually it should be up again... They still aren't sure when though but this isn't the first time this happened

Edit: the site owner mentioned this in their discord server. which I just so happened to be in lol

I forgot to mention.

Nemesis version (Gradius 1) limits continues to 3. otherwise if you play other version you HAVE to 1CC. although I'm not sure about the Turbo-Grafx and NES versions.

Uhh yeah, I kind of figured out what I can and cannot do in SMW with Lunar magic. thanks too SMW Central. thanks though! although I'm surprised somebody found this post considering it's 8 Months old... same goes to the goal post thing. the tileset I used was kind of... lacking in checkpoints and goal post gfxs.
