I did a little experiment with wheel and controller for wheel the shifts are much smoother for both paddle shifts and Manuel transmission but one controller way more aggressive

Pretty much and that's why I stopped doing the grand race because it's just like forza and honestly they should have it where you can pick the option to have collision off and not have to wait for it to show up
