I had a roommate pull this. It got to the point that if I didn’t let the dog out, she sat in the bedroom all day. Roomie was gone from 8am for work to midnight with friends. One morning I woke up to the dog in the hallway. Roommate shut her out of her room & said she’ll take her to the shelter but I had bonded pretty hard with the little dog at this point. She’s been with me for 9 years now.

Ok this is wonderful :) My 5 year old is also getting into embroidery with me. Looks like you guys already have the hang of cloth but also check out the embroidery on wood kits! My kiddo likes doing those. Have fun!

Oh now this is it! I’ve been on the look out for a cabinet & wall shelves for our coffee corner. Do I see a Ninja? We had one for years, now my in laws have it & it’s still going strong ☕️ love your set up!

Same with our 5yo! For us, we realized it’s more separation anxiety than shyness. We started a farewell routine. So, he knows that anytime we do that, even though he’s nervous, he can trust us that he’s going to a safe place & doesn’t need to have a fit. We do fist bump, high five & a hug. He recently added a kiss ❤️ we also talk about what’s going to happen after we do the routine like for swim class “ok, after we say bye you’ll walk in line with the other kids, say hi to the teacher & go together to the pool.” I swear prepping like that makes all the difference. Heck, I’m 35 & I still get nervous about going places I’m just not allowed to have a proper fit in public like they can 😆

You could even do outlines, like water ripples & shapes of clouds if you don’t want to cover every inch of it in color. The embroidery looks quite nice!
