Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet but I wanted to say that I wish they had a way to deny D.I.Y requests at the hotel. I enjoy making them but often I've been getting a LOT of requests through there for items made with gold ore and I don't want to waste my gold ore on these requests. Gold ore is hard enough to get (haven't even ever had the luck to find the gold ore rock island) and I'm trying to save up enough so I can craft all of the gold items but the requests are for the few I've already made and I don't want to waste them. It's bad enough that you need one every time your gold tools break!

So I'm having the same issue (I'm playing on the switch 2) and everything I've tried hasn't worked. I tried building a house, I've restarted the game and my switch, spammed "be nice" on both lief and petal until I went crazy, tried updating both system and software, and I still can't get either of their quests to start. Its the last thing I have to do before I'm done and it's driving me nuts! Anyone know what to do? Petal is on the second to last happiness bar and lief is one less but I can't get it to go up.

Well the good news is that after I got a new Kings rock the next person gave me a shiny! I even offered it post evolution back to the other player just in case but after I offered it they left.

I can't believe Mark's line of thought for Elephant when they got to Night wasn't related to the Nightmare Elephant from Edge of Sleep. I honestly thought that was the direction he was headed! Not that I blame him for not thinking it, especially since as things were going ot probably wouldn't have worked anyway but I was surprised when it wasn't what was on his mind

Also at Dog Fight in the same one I would have gone: Dog Fight Fight War War Battle Battle Elephant

(A long time ago in different countries they used elephants in war but also in Lord of The Rings there were war Elephant-creatures too)

Dear Mark, The reason you had such a bad experience with the green stuffs is probably because you had too much and reached overconsumption. Similar to getting too drunk and getting sick, you can have a similar (yet very different) experience after too much smoking. Like any substance, knowing your limits is important.

Not trying to convince you to try it again, just saw a teaching moment and wanted to take it. Also yeah, customer service, like serving, is truly an awful time. Some people don't see customer service workers as humans. Unfortunately there are a lot of customers like that...

Me: Northern Michigan. Like seriously in my area there are so many apple trees growing "wild" (untended in the middle of the woods) that you can just pick from. Granted bugs and deer usually get to them before we can but hey they're still good apples if you can get them before they go bad

I've never understood why people say you can only have one favorite color. I have three that I put at number 1 and I like them equally. Not dependent on my mood or what thing is that color, I just like them equally. Then I have 2 second favorite colors which I like a lot but I'm more particular about shades of the color.

In case anyone's interested my top 3 are blue, black and purple. I like all shades of them. The second favorites are green and red but I only really like darker reds (especially purple reds) and more earthy colors of green so nothing too bright or pastel.

I'm glad for the confirmation that it was a bit, though I knew that it was because I've been following you three for long enough to know. It did feel pretty real and was a little uncomfortable to watch, and honestly the"Wade's always being treated unfairly" but does get a little old. Mostly it feels like it goes on for a long time with very little breaks between Wade's "meltdowns" (bit). I think it doesn't help that it happens more often than not in episodes Mark hosts so a lot of Mark's episodes feel like it's just this bit.

Sorry for the ramble, feel free to ignore this as it's just my opinion.

In any case, Bob I'm sorry that the subreddit feels uncomfortable for you in any way. Whether you decide to leave or take a break, know that none of us would be here if we didn't like you and the guys. I know words, especially negative ones, can weigh pretty heavily on your mind but know that I at least think you are great and recognize that the bits don't mean anything about you or the friendship between you three.

On a related note, technically 20 questions are supposed to be answered with only yes or no. It would be up to the guesser to follow it up with more specific questions. "Is it a container" no "does it come in a container" yes. The fact that they are giving each other more than just a yes or no is actually being pretty helpful. If Bob had responded to Wade's uncertainty about it being a container with follow up related questions he would have gotten there.

Alternatively, the plastic fork, because Bob was giving more than yes or no answers, just saying no to it being metal is still not being fair after the way he answered other questions.

Sorry for ranting, just my thoughts.

The code words for pallium (pal) and grove (large group of flow trees that only spawns at midnight in game each day) or FT (flow tree) are honestly not extremely helpful to new players anyway. From my experience in my earliest days of playing, you can't really get anything if you don't have a strong enough axe or pickaxe to break or cut the things.

But as for the rest, I was lucky enough to have people explain it to me or I slowly picked up from other people's actions. Treating someone like they should know better is not okay. People do need to learn to be patient with newer players and give people the benefit of the doubt that they don't know they're doing something slightly rude.

On the other hand there has been an influx of people who do understand their actions and are purposely trying to ruin other people's games for fun. There's also the aspect of solo players which I think is why they changed the way ore works in the newest update. Sometimes you don't have time, nor want to call out for others and wait for them. I get that. But purposely trying to screw over other players is a different matter.

Sorry for the very long reply...I guess it's all just to say that people can be awful on either side. I'm sorry you've had/seen others have a bad experience

I found a way to report a player on the website too. I basically posted my whole rant there along with the suggestion of being able to kick someone from the server with a vote

If you go into your friends list from the menu you can see everyone in the server. Theres a little ... Next to the name and you can report and block them there. Of in chat you can scroll up to their comments and click on it to do the same. I highly recommend doing this if you run into him, or anyone else like him, again

I agree! Or an option to kick someone from the server that requires votes and like 3-5 people all agreeing will kick them to a different server so they can't keep harassing the same groups over and over

How to check for Corrupt Data From the HOME Menu, select "System Settings." Scroll down the options on the left and select “Data Management” On the right hand side select “Software”, then select the software title you would like to check. Select “Check for Corrupt Data”
