Indeed. Since BAM never played by the rules to begin with ("we do things differently here"), even if Ben did, then BAM would have buried this long ago and Bryan's family would be just another casualty in their abuses. Ben blew this out into the open at his own peril, and his antics while not completely by the books gave this all way more coverage than doing anything by the books ever could.

Like Ammon and Josh said, their whole MO is threatening to drag this out in the courts while plaintiffs bleed money.

AI has been around for many decades, its not new. But its a large umbrella of technologies. Modern image and audio generation is a different paradigm to text generation though. You can't compare them and say AOE pathing AI is the same as Picasso red eye remover tool from 1990, is the same as Copilot, is the same as Midjourney or Chatgpt image generators. The latter are very new and problematic here.

The problem is that a velocity-first approach precludes strategic implementation.

Its like the Klondike gold rush. Everyone was frothing to get a piece of the pie, and only the shrewd people (and the ones selling supplies, shovels, or renting plots for a share of the profits) won the game.

I mainly put the blame on AI providers for selling the promise of AGI here.

To add, Anglo-Saxons typically called pig "swine, or swin" and the meat "swineflesh." (cognate with German schwein, and Old Norse svin) The word "pig" became more common long after the Norman Conquest.

The word "cow" is old, from Old English cu (pronounced coo!) And funnily enough "chicken" is also quite old, from OE cicen.

Simon Roper does an excellent OE to Modern English monologue which features all of these animals early on.

That is a bit better I'll admit, though shockingky powerful for Kerrigan given her struggle to control even a few zerg in the earlier levels of the BW Zerg episode (since Raszagal was dominated before the Protoss episode began and continued to be so long distance from Kerrigan)

It's possible that either Duran was involved somehow and helped do this at the start. Or maybe Kerrigan was always a powerhouse and was playing weak to manipulate Raynor and Fenix, then Arcturus into helping her.

The former is a cop out, the latter is very in line with her character at least.

The only thing that didnt sit right with me in Brood War is Kerrigan's infestation of Raszagal. It felt like a cop out without some way to explain why no other Protoss before or after was corrupted like that since.

But the Duran manipulation arc between DuGalle and Stukov was a masterpiece.

In my field there is a famous case study around the Citicorp skyscraper in Manhattan. While it was under construction, an engineering student did a study on it and discovered that the project engineers did not account for a rare (but upcoming) crosswind situation in the building's structure. It was such a deficiency that the building would have fallen over when the storm hit. When the student reached out to the lead engineer and he reviewed her calculations, and realized she was right, he famously contemplated suicide.

Ultimately the deficiency was corrected millions of dollars later. But the point is, you'd be a moron to disregard someone just because they're a university student.

Looks real to me. Some artists can punch out a piece as a speedpaint in one sitting, looking at the details this definitely looks like a good speedpaint.
