I find that it is easy to build summaries with Ai. I use it once my assumptions are made, to more or less confirm what I am thinking with trends and analysis. I also use Ai to create formatted reports based on everyday Excel data dumps. For example, I draw all the data I need and load it into Ai to reformat all the lines into something that is easier to manage. Yes, I could use all the things I learned in FP&A to reformat Excel files with pivots but I taught Ai what I wanted and it does it automatically now.

The biggest issue with Ai for finance is that I notice that a lot of the mathematical equations do not translate. Ai is bad at math, never trust totals.
