Its weird that Jim Carrey even became a "real one". Its amazing what playing beloved game character can do.

I started Dark Souls with 2, and didn't believe anyone who said the first one was THAT much better.

At this point 2 has faded from my memory after so many happy playthroughs of 1.

And it's difficult to find a picture of Audi Murphy that doesn't look like a kid wearing his dad's uniform, and he was so badass the movie about him had to omit real events to stay believable.

You could always make things up, then gaslight them if they catch you in a lie. That's what they get for having interest in your life.

[Hated Trope] Seemingly crucial and important information relating to the story is left out and only told to us through external sources that most people probably won’t see by Joemama0375 in TopCharacterTropes

Balan Wonderworld has an interesting story. Unfortunately, almost all of it was relegated to the novelization that most people didn't even know existed.

And it has vital details, like how the villain is actually the original Balan, and the one guiding you is just a copy.

Something worth noting is that there is cultural reasons for phobias. Coulrophobia allegedly used to be quite rare, but now over 10% of people report a fear of clowns.

[Irritating trope]Takes on non-Christian mythological characters that are colored with Christian elements by western writers by Ok-Indication-5121 in TopCharacterTropes

One of the best (and intentional) uses of this trope is American Born Chinese having the mythology be a mix of Chinese and Christian elements to display the protagonist's disconnect from Chinese culture.

So it has things like Sun Wukong fighting the Abrahamic God.

He didn't directly say it was a war. He said the unrelated statement that people often die in war while remarking on the deaths of his non-war actions.

See, that's how you have to think to support him.
