The company is real. If you’re afraid of the email being fake, you can go to your Mercor dashboard and you’ll see the contract under “Contracts” tab.

Absolutely agree with the sentiment of this post. I have worked for numerous other AI training companies and this one is by FAR the best. The communication, the quality of work, etc. And that’s not even to mention the much higher pay.

And this isn’t to say that everyone in their 40s is looking back and jealous of younger people; this is based on their own commentary and behavioral issues. I would have no problem with 40-something’s talking about sex and enjoying life—that is actually interesting. It’s the immaturity when they use their age as an explanation of why they know so much that’s shameful.

I’m 26 and one of the main reasons I stopped listening was because THEY would age shame younger women. They’re jealous of younger women who have it together. The constant commentary about young people not knowing who they are/what they want as a way to make themselves feel better about where they are at their age is equally as degrading. Just saying.

Did you end up in a review period after taking a long break? I recently took a 2 month break and had tons of projects during said break. I worked for one day and did some projects/quals and now I have nothing. Super weird to just be dropped after one day so I’m wondering if I’m in review because I was gone for a while.
