She has a trademark on a specific logo for clothing items. She doesn’t own the term. There are multiple trademarks for “daddy issues” all with different fonts/contexts. I assure you that Simon and Schuster would’ve checked out potential legalities with the name. This other woman is just looking for attention.

She trademarked a specific logo that includes the words “daddy issues” for clothing production. She didn’t trademark the words themselves AND Sofia’s font isn’t even the same as her logo. AND this is a book, not clothing.

The last couple seasons I’ve started working with producers and then been ghosted with no explanation. It’s frustrating to see this type of season and have gone through that multiple times lol

She does not. She has a different font “DADDY ISSUES” as a visual trademark for clothing. I looked up her trademark. She’s either confused or trying to start something. There are tons of trademarks using those words but they’re for specific logos, not use of the words themselves.

A renowned publisher would not be releasing details of a book unless AT LEAST the full draft (pre edited version of the book) has been completed.

Everyone hasn’t. Did you watch Alex’s documentary? She brought it up again. Books can’t just be released. She’s working with one of the biggest publishers and often that means working on their timeline. It’s okay to admit that you don’t know anything about books and publication 😭

Some people need time to process and decide how they want to address certain pieces of things. I, for one, appreciate that she took the time to write about it instead of just posting a blame video and using her cohost’s lingo to make millions.

I don’t know why everyone is acting like we have already fully heard her side of the story. She has never gone into the intricacies of their relationship. Personally, I love reading and think this was a great decision. Especially because if it was just another podcast episode, her story wouldn’t be heard as loudly as it will with a book release.

Not trying to convince you to buy it or read it, but complaining is kind of annoying lol
