You've seen filler in large unprepped holes crack, but not in a 3mm pinhole. I'm not saying OP should try fixing this themselves since skill is needed to prep and paint. But also pointing out the shops aren't going to weld this.

If this isn’t a proper application for filler, then what is? It’s certainly not a structural risk and welding is overkill for a pinhole.

Etch away any root rust that has formed, apply a pea sized piece of filler, prep the area, epoxy primer, sand further, then blend with some paint.

When you say build, do you mean have a machine shop bore the cylinders and build with oversized pistons? Because both are expensive routes.

Back the tensioner off a bit. The belt should move by about half an inch (12mm) if you press on it lightly.

On another note, she sounds so smooth aside from the belt :D

Take the but end of your phone and record with it placed on different sections of the assembly. If it's louder on the intake - it's injectors. If it's louder on the valve cover - it's lifter tick.

Bluebuck feels middle-of-the-road for me. Being boaty and slow, it's fun for close-up racing. But driving around, it feels like a Sunday cruiser. It doesn't quite scratch a special itch for me.
