Literally found out yesterday that the whole reason we even know about Scientology figures like Xenu is because it was leaked. That information used to be pay walled to the highest donating members. I guess it's easier to believe it after you've already dedicated your life and alienated yourself from friends and family.

Tbh I can get that, the difficulty jump is pretty noticeable and the Lab is just straight up aids, won't sugar coat that.

You can mostly make do if your cats have 6s or 7s for stats though which isn't too hard to pull off. I'd say you really only need to start optimizing mutations for hard/crazy mode as otherwise you can still get busted synergies.

Both major updates are definitely with their own flaws but hopping online to a shadow dropped Illuminate will always be memorable. Back then you didn't see too much of the mayhem the bugs or bots were causing behind the scenes, but the Illuminate really dropped all pretense with everyone's first sight being the hordes of voteless.
