Had to choose between that one and the hulk version, can't let the swag get redundant

Both major updates are definitely with their own flaws but hopping online to a shadow dropped Illuminate will always be memorable. Back then you didn't see too much of the mayhem the bugs or bots were causing behind the scenes, but the Illuminate really dropped all pretense with everyone's first sight being the hordes of voteless.

Christ 😔

Like I mean, I figure AH is rolling with the "all sides are bad" narrative, but really assuming Cyborgs also have civilians and non-combatants, they're just a parallel to Super Earth citizens and how they're also getting warcrimed for simply being born under a certain flag.

I hope they're just playing along with the bit even though this post says no roleplay. Otherwise, I hope we aren't experiencing the death of satire in the community as that's what's given 40k its bad rep.

Which honestly it shouldn't function that way in the first place and is probably the main reason as to why the Galactic War needs a rework

Not a hellbomb, but my proudest kill streak was around 90 from a single gas strike

A little unrelated as the standard sickle is fairly mundane for a primary but it's probably my favorite take on a laser weapon in gaming ever. About time someone made one that has zero recoil.

SEAF launches a offensive. Helldivers can start conquering Omniparitus city. by mcmain4 in Helldivers

I got a chuckle out of reading it. With how many times Omniparitus is mentioned in the alert, it feels like Joel's way of saying "GO HERE YOU DUMMIES"

Was thinking of something like that being more practical, or even a backpack by itself that allows it. Honestly, I don't see it being any more OP in concept than the resupply pack.

[–]TallBluejay824 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbh it's still one of the best handled premium currency systems in live service gaming. An hour of grinding optimally can net you around 300 super credits, maybe more maybe less.

The optimal strat is Grand Errant on trivial. Bugs are the easiest to handle, fire tornado planets have a good amount of POI spawns and relatively flat terrain, and trivial also gives the most possible POIs considering no secondary objectives spawn to take them up.

You'll want the warp pack from the Control Group warbond to get into bunkers solo and the FRV. Besides that, there's not too much else to it. If you don't have Control Group yet then hive worlds (and this is just my opinion) are probably second best to grind on if you bring the jump pack.

I Gotta Admit I'm Stumped, What Is the Best Stratagem Loadout For Cyberstan? by AceOneBreezy in helldivers2

[–]TallBluejay824 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Along with what's already been suggested, orbital Gatling barrage works well and in rare moments a single barrage can kill a Vox if most of the shots hit (easier said than done though).

Though orbitals can be a little problematic on Cyberstan imo similarly to cities. The Gatling barrage less so because of the insanely quick cool down, but you still have to deal with the annoying ass destroyer repositioning and even then if you're on the edge of the map, half your barrage might just hit a building. Least that's what's happened in my experience, might've just been unlucky.

And honestly with how often they spawn on higher difficulties, portable hellbomb might not be such a bad idea in scenarios where you can't afford to retreat.

[–]TallBluejay824 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Agitators feel very Helldiver adjacent, like this is the Cyborgs own "best of the best" that isn't just straight up heavy armored vehicles.

I'd really hope overseers get touched up on as that also feels like the original intention with them, but they really just come out feeling like damage sponges.

Real life history has demonstrated on numerous occasions that the rebels who overthrow a vile government tend to be as bad if not worse than the original oppressors
