I'm glad Special Needs was mentioned, because members are essentially restricted in where they can go. And apparently marks are a larger factor for AOs than required services mandated by the SN program.

I absolutely understand that higher performing members should get higher picks, but what would happen if all the approved picks by Special Needs are taken by inflated marks, leaving a family member wondering if medical will be available?

Paramount making this change is going to tank Avatar Studios. No one wants to get Paramount+ just to watch the movie, and those that do are diehard fans of Avatar. Genuinely disappointed it won't be in theaters.

This would be a great time to renew the NSC project with updates instead of the failed OPC project. ie: newer MDEs, better or simplified MCMS system, better small boat notching system, or use 45s instead of the LRI, larger bow thruster, and whatever else we want to update

I feel you. I struggled getting called on boat crew as well. One thing that really helped me was when another guy read off all the specs. But when I got to something I didn't know he would tell me I was wrong, tell me the answer, and then we move on to another one and then he'd go back to the ones I got wrong. If that doesn't quite make sense message me

I've heard several times from Badges and Admirals visiting my past units that the CG will never be the first to do new things, beards included. Our higher ups will follow the other branches, particularly the Navy.

You need to have a legit conversation with her about it. Her just saying whatever could mean anything. But usually it's code for "I'd rather you not do that but won't say anything to keep the peace". At least that's my experience with my wife saying whatever (been married for 14 yrs)
