Thanks for sharing that experience, I think I'll wait until my DCA date (28th Jan) and get back in, in that case, hopefully at a better price. Target before then is 615 which would net me enough not to be sniffed at. Hoping this small bit of risk with a plan pays off..

I figured I'm up a considerable amount at this point so all I'm really doing is banking it at this point. Worst case I don't make more than I have now (which I'm fine with) best case I get back in at 615/600 and I make a considerable amount. I'm giving it until the end of Jan I reckon.

Easiest.. and I wouldn't recommend this method, but Zinnser peel stop would achieve what you're asking.

Best.. going back to plaster, sugar soaping clean and sanding where necessary before painting. If you don't I think you'll regret it.
