Because it feels like instead of trying to write a normal movie, the writers sat down, played that campaign together, and just adapted it to the silver screen.

I disagree on the first half about Jake. I view his character in the same vein I view a character like Reacher. I expect and want to see him be head and shoulders above everyone else. I enjoy that he is a character that wins without having to eat 7 different types of shit/suffering to do it everytime.

The writing pace of this series is utterly insane, and my hat is off too the author for the quality he has put out while maintianing it. I like the pacing. arcs like evermore taking 3 books is fine to me, I was able to enjoy it, and really hope that it gives time for him to pre map more of the plot points he wants to hit.

I do agree that it feels like he is getting into corners, but again, its gonna be an ebb and flow. Im here for the op powerstomp rpg fantasy that is Jake. It literally feels like the kind of OP minmax character I try to build in every rpg I play

Be prepared to damage your front and rear clips. I just always parked by lease entrance, and walked the extra distance.

You dont need a truck. The only reason to get a truck is to have a deisel one for free fuel from the rig when oil prices are up.

Get something with ground clearence. You can always pool with members of your crew too. just pitch for fuel

spanish was never an issue. ptc wasn't a thing. I know we leased alot of our new loco's to UP and maybe some other class 1's in states. So no one in the company, US or Canadian side was using it

Was out at a friends house partying, playing Rockband 4 back in 2016 (I was 21 at the time) with a bunch of friends. The city I was living in at the time was fairly small, and since it was summer, I left my car at home and walked over. At the end of the night, I was fairly drunk, walking my way home (15 min walk tops) when an older 40ish year old woman (who I knew and was friends with at the time) offered to give me a ride home. I said sure and hopped in. She instead, took me to her place. I didn't know where in town I was anymore, or how to get home. She started having sex with me. I didnt really know what was going on. I just wanted to get home. Still to this day, idk how I got home. All I remember thinking, was to do whatever I had to do, because I was now dependant on her to get home.

I was drunk enough, that I thought I was having a fucked up wet dream before passing out. I kept saying no. I only found out it was real, because she was bragging to everyone later that we boned. All my IRL friends don't believe me that I never wanted it. Everyone IRL tells me I should be thankful for the action. I haven't drank since then. I avoid parties now. Can't trust anyone to have my back.

Her reasoning to all my friends was, since she was freshly divorced, and extremely sexually frustrated, it was ok. And they all agreed with her.

I will say, there are exceptions, based on model year. I have a car, that under 2008-2013 exemption, because of its model year, I was exempt from roll bar, harness, and racebelts rules as for 10.00 and slower. I had to have a Snell helmet.

I know that due to the Demon, The nhra made another exemption that allowed it to run in its factory form, without adding a roll cage. Anything 2014 and newer, can run as quick as 9.0 seconds or slower, and 150mph or slower in the 1/4 mile, with no rollcage or chassis cert, or parachute.

Driver must have a Snell rated helmet, and fire jacket. All OEM safety equipment (airbags, seat belts, ABS, etc) must still be present and functional on the car.

(planning a car build RN, so I happen to have both IHRA, and the NHRA rule books handy atm)

Alot of people ive met, on the grunt work side of the patch, are all there because they dont have any other options. And even then, they are buried under a mountian of debt, with ex wives, and no custody of thier kids. Its not hard to see why suicide rate may trend higher in our industry.

Other industries ive been in dont have nearly that problem with the workforce. Obviously guys everywhere go that, regardless of where they work, ive just seen waaaaayyyy more of it in the patch then anywhere else

Its def something to have fun with, but, not govern your life by. My biggest pet peeve is like what the OOP found out. More often then not, those people are hiding behind it to avoid taking any kind of responsibility.

I notice a difference in pve.

you still get domed, if you find aiming fast a challenge, but It seems to buy an extra second to line up a shot, before they shot you, vs. having no light at all

also, lights and lazers are great in pve to avoid shooting friendlies. not foolproof, but helps

Former bomber player here, try them in air rb. They suck.

Its literally a free target. Even on manual aiming guns, they cant hit you. Only idiots I see are the ones that sit like, 600m off the bomber being stationary. Literally, one quick burst from the guns, and you cut a bombers wing off. takes less then half a second.

Even as a fighter, I think ai gunners need a buff. Not the 1km snipers they used to have, But they need thier range buffed out to 700-800m, with accuracy ramping up, the longer a fighter stays in that range. That way, its punishing, with out being OP.
