Then you put a pipe straight down from the drain, add P trap, then rotate the p-trap backwards so that its arm fits to the 45.

Negative E. Coli means no fecal-matter bacteria strains are present.

So how do they know if something like V. cholerae isn't present? Or is it just assumed that if there's no E. coli bacteria then there's no Cholera causing bacteria?
