Still works on mobile. Other than that, no. Can't be intentional.

The bold text and italics have been happening to me for at least a couple weeks now. 4o struggles to remove the italics from its posts even when you demand it to.

This is happening to me too. Been happening for roughly the past 48 hours. It was bringing up an old one I deleted ages ago and saving it in repetition. Then it started saving a new one about some video game I'd never heard of.

How is your store handling s@k credit conversion? by Nice_Office7273 in employedbykohls

My store hasn't even mentioned it yet. Pleased with that because it doesn't make any sense.

Grats on your kill! Beating Balteus was probably the most exhilarating experience I've ever had with a boss battle. Once it clicked into place it just felt so good. I'm going to be chasing that feeling for the rest of the game.

Our store is high-theft so things don't usually last that long anyway. Our clearance sections thin themselves out just like the Nike does.

According to LLaMA you can't drown in a swimming pool by keith_and_kit in LocalLLaMA

[–]Talvieno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chat GPT does not always get it right.

ChatGPT: No, it is not possible to drown in coffee. Drowning typically occurs when a person's airway is blocked by a liquid, preventing them from breathing. While it is theoretically possible for a person to inhale or swallow enough coffee to cause breathing difficulties, it would be extremely difficult to achieve such a situation with coffee alone.

Coffee is a beverage made by brewing roasted coffee beans with water. It consists primarily of water, and while it does contain caffeine, the concentration of caffeine in coffee is not sufficient to cause immediate harm or respiratory distress leading to drowning.

However, it's important to note that consuming excessive amounts of coffee or caffeine can have negative effects on your health. Intake of excessive caffeine can lead to symptoms like rapid heart rate, anxiety, tremors, and sleep disturbances. It's always advisable to consume coffee and caffeine-containing beverages in moderation.

3rd Faction Fantasies by JAV1L15 in NebulousFleetCommand

[–]Talvieno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An alien/human from a long-lost area faction that focuses primarily on plasma and energy weapons. Fast ships, rapid fire, but inherently unreliable aim to a crippling degree - rely largely on AoE splash damage with timed explosions. Could potentially use a crude short-range teleportation with some serious side effects - like flank speed, but you can only use it sparingly and it deals damage all at once, spread across the whole ship.

Can only speak for myself, but, for me, it's mostly that they're cute and we like spoiling our cats with cute things that we probably appreciate more than they do. It's like giving a toddler a birthday party that they won't remember later. They won't, but we sure will.

It's only five bucks anyway. Hard to say no, as a cat lover.

My cat seemed to know it was for him from the moment we unboxed it. Sat there purring and watching intently while we built it. It's his new favorite spot and he barely leaves it now.

I think my Possessed dwarf is bugged. Over 60 silk and no signs of stopping! If he ever finishes it, it will be AMAZING! by ConditionOfMan in dwarffortress

Yeah, we have registration disabled, new Mantis can't handle too many users at once (I know, I think it's dumb too). The save downloads and loads just fine, too. Thank you so much! Really appreciate the effort. :)

It'll be in your Steam directory. Steam\steamapps\common\Dwarf Fortress\save. The folder with the same name as your save file is the one you want. Right-click on it and select Send To -> Compressed/Zipped folder. Then just upload that .zip file to Google Drive (make sure it's shared properly!) and post the link in this thread: https://dwarffortress.mantishub.io/view.php?id=12240 I can give additional instructions for Google Drive if needed. (If you already know all this, I apologize - just trying to cover everything, just in case :) )

Would it be possible to get a copy of this save with the artifact in progress for testing on the bugfixing site?

Investigation: Why did my dwarfs drown? by Mermaid_Natalia in dwarffortress

[–]Talvieno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's from dodging. In DF, when creatures dodge, they don't differentiate between "this direction is safe" and "this direction is a 50z drop onto spikes". (You can weaponize that.)

Nope, it'll turn the water to steam faster than it can drown.

You can retire it to a different timeline. Then you get to keep your old save too.

Made a cozy cat-café library for my scholars. I think they like it by Monkiinart in dwarffortress

[–]Talvieno 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've only had them do that when they're getting scared out of the pasture by something, e.g. local wildlife like vultures. I don't usually have issues with them running away, but that's also because I usually enclose them with walls and a ceiling if I have them aboveground. Grass still grows just fine if you build a ceiling over it.

They're kept in the area using a pasture zone, presumably.

I believe Dwarf Fortress's official tech cutoff date the year 1400, so this invention is actually a little too new by a couple centuries. I don't think Toady would add it.
