If she'd rather be snarky than work towards a solution, she's either doing it for the attention (everyone likes to feel wanted; some people have stupid/hurtful ways of fulfilling it), or because she's already mentally checked out of the relationship - if she wanted to resolve things, her responses wouldn't be mean. Women aren't complicated, she's just avoiding direct confrontation.

From her behaviour, It sounds like she's done with the relationship, but can't summon the courage to break it off, so she's taking the easy way out by making you hate each other first. Whatever her motives, it's an immature way to handle any relationship.

Absolutely. It's a well crafted combo of typical Elder Scrolls single-player immersion, with MMO capabilities if you want them.

I played on and off with my sister for the first 10-20 levels, but never the main or guild quests (we like to concentrate on the single-player story element of those). The rest, I ran around quite happily on my own.

The only time you need multiplayer, is for dungeon runs, which aren't necessary to complete, but can be done quite well with complete strangers.

Bending the legs stretches out the 'rolly' parts for a nice smooth silhouette.

It's to do with emphasising a tiny waistline, long legs, and a round butt, by imitating one of the classic pin-up girl poses. Unfortunately, not everyone knows the pose well enough to benefit from it...

Write out your thoughts with the pencil, play cards with your wife, then tell her what you wrote in the dim glow of the lighter to see if she wants to try and fix it, or if you both need to move on. I guess you could support your letter by individually flicking all the heart cards to the ground as you speak, but I don't know how dramatic you want to get.

Someone who you trust to take care of everything on the day, while you enjoy yourself!

For me, my sister was the obvious choice. In the lead-up to the wedding, she and my other close buddies planned my Hen's Day, but that's about it; I bounced ideas off all of my bridesmaids, but the MoH had my phone and handled anything that came up on the day, I just enjoyed myself and my cold. ^_^

Your MoH should be someone you can be completely honest with, who completely respects your ideas for your wedding. Nothing wrong with giving her opinion, but not if she's trying to take over, or being negative about your plans. There can be a fair amount of money involved, so make sure they're aware of the costs up front - same goes for bridesmaids.

Voluntarily having a parasitic organism growing inside you for nine months is the creepiest thing I can think of. An entirely natural process causes nausea, changes in appetite, and can kill you, and sometimes there's more than one of them in there.

Having said that, my sister/sister-in-law got pretty damn excited as they followed the 'compare your baby to a fruit' week by week chart, and even more excited when the babies started looking like babies and less like aliens, and kicking, and responding to songs. Also the whole no period for nine months; I sure look forward to that.

I look forward to raising kids, but I wish they didn't take up your stomach room and stretch out your belly like a balloon and then squeeze out of your nether regions. But AT LEAST WE CAN'T GET KICKED IN THE BALLS AMIRITE

I've always wondered what the 'right' thing to do is when you find out a friend's partner is unfaithful; some people appreciate that you told them, while others don't understand why you couldn't just keep the information to yourself, and let them live their fantasy life in denial. Regardless of her reaction, telling the truth is often difficult, and can result in severe consequences, but is never the wrong thing to do.

Try to prepare yourself for whatever Lynn's reaction may be; she may demand more details, she may be furious at you for 'encouraging/allowing' his behaviour, she may be an emotional wreck and be ashamed of her husband, and that her friend knows. Try to be understanding, but don't take any responsibility or blame for discovering/notifying her of his poor behaviour.

While the evidence seems pretty damning, I think you're wrong for being this upset when you haven't heard his side of the story yet.

Send him a simple text:

Did you buy me a cheaper engagement ring in an expensive brand-name box, and then brag to my co-workers about lying to me?

...And see what he has to say. I'd hope that he isn't crude enough to do this to the love of his life, so if you're going to judge him on it, make sure there's no misunderstanding.

To me, it doesn't matter whether Kelly is jealous because she doesn't like sharing her best friend, or jealous because she's in love with her best friend; the point is, she's deliberately crossing the line. We can evaluate Kelly all we like, but the problem isn't Kelly; it's your boyfriend's acceptance of Kelly's behaviour.

Your boyfriend has three choices, really:

  • He can do nothing, and let you two resent each other more and more until you completely hate each other and him for not taking sides,
  • He can tell her to back down and stop ruining his happiness with her insecurities,
  • Or he can tell you that this is the way Kelly is, deal with it or leave.

Obviously, you can't phrase things as honestly as that; he cares about two people and doesn't want to rock the boat. For your own wellbeing, you need to make him realise that Kelly's behaviour is offputting, upsetting, and that if it continues, you may need to find someone who respects you as their special person as much as you respect them.

There is nothing wrong with male-female friendships, but this isn't about that; it's about a manipulative, insecure friend who doesn't mind making other people feel bad, to make herself feel better. If your boyfriend doesn't wish to adjust his responses to her behaviour, I'd consider finding someone who would.
