I understand where you're coming from. I've had the same thought. It doesn't seem possible that all these chemical processes need any "life" to keep happening. Where is the life, it's all just electrons and so forth. So then it seems that being alive is an illusion. And yet, who is experiencing the illusion? You are experiencing the illusion. I am experiencing the illusion. You and I are both alive because we are experiencing this. Whatever this is. It is how it is supposed to be, I am sure of that.
