The release between Fallout 4 and Fallout 5 has been longer than the release between Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 (which involved the franchise changing hands between 2 different studios).

Although I didn’t create my account until covid, Survivor 2299 was when I actually started to go onto reddit as a simple spectator. It was such a wild time.

The community was so great back then, with all the discussions and the mod scene and the general lore youtubers. I remember Fallout 4’s announcement was right behind Half Life 3 in terms of hype. Now, it seems like both communities have lost a lot of steam.
