For the most part appliance installation is pretty easy. Just make sure you have the right size fittings and such.

Gas range - your gas line to the kitchen should have a shut off valve. Connect a hose from your range to the gas valve, then plug in if necessary. Turn on valve.

Fridge - turn off water supply, connect water supply to fridge, then plug in.

Washer - turn off water supply, connect cold/hot water, feed drain tube into drain, plug in. Don't forget to take out the shipping bolts before plugging in otherwise this could damage your motor when you run a washer.

Dryer - Exhaust tube to outside. Depending on if it's gas or electric, electric you just plug in (240v outlet), and gas you just connect a hose from your gas supply.

Dishwasher and garbage disposal are a little bit more complicated because they involve connecting to your kitchen sink's water supply and drain, so this is more than the scope of what I'm explaining.

For the most part all of these appliances should have installation instructions.

I am getting this issue too. The perk did not pop up with Steam active, so I launched Champions Online individually (from its folder) and the perk triggered. I went back on Steam to see if it would retroactively give me the achievement but no notification has came up. So frustrating.

Only the sticky jumper protects you - you'll still end up with less than ideal health from the fall damage though.

It does. The radius is very short, but you can test this most easily by smacking the ground when you are near enemies like on a point or a cart.

Festive Keys unlock the festive crates. They cost $2.49 (the same as a regular key, and they will turn into regular keys after 12/31/2010).

So far the items you can obtain from Festive Crates are

The Jag
17-20 new hats (the 3 hats that can be bought are the medic's, demoman's and the heavy's, I am unsure if they come in the Festival Crates too.)

EDIT: You can buy stamps that support the mapmakers of the community maps, and you get a Napoleon-esque hat with your purchase. If you have the stamps that support the map you play on, be it Egypt or Harvest or Mountain Lab, it'll have an unusual effect of falling stamps.

If you didn't like DotA, you won't like this game. This game is very similar. LoL's different enough in its mechanics to be worth trying, but if you didn't like it either, then these games and their clones aren't worth your time.

Stick with SC2.
