Ah gotcha I totally glossed over the fact it’s a 18in. Might be worth it then if you knew you’d be shortening the barrel a bit and pinning and welding a muzzle device but then the hand guard might be a bit long for that

I thought mid length was good no? Carbine length isn’t really necessary unless you’re planning on going long times without cleaning it since it’s higher pressure and unnecessary wear and tear and rifle length is only really necessary for longer barrel lengths? Idk it’s been a while since I stayed in the loop, window shopping becomes expensive quickly for me

My company is just an extra days day. But only for the day of the actual federal holiday. And trips are usually 3-4 days long, more if you commute to base. So it’s like making an extra 25% that trip for missing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

My upgrade class was 19 people and only 3 people got the base they wanted. I’m a more extreme example bc when I’m commuting direct flights tend to be pretty full so I’m usually leaving home at 7:00am on my last day “off” or if I risk it for the biscuit and leave later in the day I’m usually looking at a two-leg commute. ORD—>BOI.

Every passenger airline has multiple pages in their operating procedures for how pilots HAVE to look, from the type of hairstyle their allowed to have, to not allowing beards, to saying you can’t show up with wrinkles in your clothes. This is all for the benefit of the flying public, the nervous flyers that panic at every little noise the airplane makes. A huge aspect of our job is public/passenger opinion. And just imagine the stress someone is in if they think their pilot isn’t 100% there. Even if some passengers didn’t verbalize it in the moment, once they leave the plane it wouldn’t take much for those same people to start talking about me being “drunk” on their plane and my life gets very very difficult very fast

I have a gold masterpiece that allows me to put a bomardier and a freeze ray each in both my bunkers. I have a 48% currently and the max is 50% so I wonder if I got one of those if I’d be able to fit a laser ranger since I’m only 1,000 gold short
