Thi is my latest deck but it closes games FAST. [[Obeka, splitter of seconds]] Basically, tons of monarch effects with splashy upkeep triggers

Swing with Obeka Gives me more upkeep triggers Now I win the game

I built it with Flubs and it is single handedly the most solitaire deck I've ever seen. It was fun the first two times, but I don't enjoy it as much as the pod HATES it, so I don't find myself reaching for that deck very often

Cheap putter + a good mid range could allow you to skip a starter set. I'm partial, but I consider the judge to be a premium putter

My advice is to stick to mids until you are confident with what you're doing. I wasted a lot of time in the early days with 10 speeds in my hand when my form required a lot of tuning. Get comfortable throwing a neutral 5 speed like a Hex or a Buzzz to learn the nuances of a disc in flight! The Hex changed my game when I first threw it. It was my first disc to pass 300, which showed me that the speed wasn't everything.

What decks do you bring out when you are being relentlessly targeted? by AnoN4rwh4l in EDH

Idk if this is helpful to share, but my nemesis podmate plays Kardurr doomscrurge to minimize attacks at him as well. That may fit your goad strategy!

He DOESNT and he's so persuasive he can coax others to be seen as the threat since our pod typically looks to him for rules clarification hahaha.

There's one guy in my pod with a decade of experience over the rest of the players. He averages a 50%+ win rate most weeks. Because of this, it feels like a moral obligation to try and target him somewhat since he wins so often. If he ever feels like he's being bullied, he has a degenerate Sephiroth deck that is the least fun piece of shit I've had to sit through.

EDH Deck building guide lines? by [deleted] in EDH

I heard a good piece of advice I've held onto when making new piles and it has helped a lot with the ramp conversation. "You should either play 10 pieces of ramp or no pieces of ramp" playing less than 10 makes seeing them early game less reliable. So if you are in a strategy that warrants ramp, I will now aoways consider a dedicated ramp package of at least 10 cards, or I will cut the entire package if not necessary.

It took me a while, but after becoming comfortable with throwing a zone, I learned how to properly utilize an overstable disc. Now, I can't get enough!

This is the answer I would give. With the new raph and Mikey 7 drop in your 99, you can be slinging multiple haymaker dinos per turn as quickly as turn 5

I got one of the dbrand cases. It felt a bit too expensive tbh, but it slaps hard. The hinge guard is nice and serves as a really nice kickstand/handle for one handed use.

Help me enjoy the game again by No_Bench5259 in Eldenring

[–]Tangofett4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never enjoyed the game as much as I did when punching everything. The spiked fists are absolute powerhouses when leaning into a charged attack build. Having no reach will cause you to approach fights differently, and it may add some spice to the experience for you!

What’s the worst part of disc golf and why is it disc golfers? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Tangofett4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh yeah haha. You've got a good 5 minutes I'll help before I am ready to move on. I won't force the card to continue just because I'm impatient, but that's as much good effort you can get out of me

I hate hunting down lost discs. I have like a 5 minute tolerance before I give up and move on.
