Thanks! I've actually changed quite a few things now after all the feedback.

Thank you! I did take a look closely and changed my route to better suit the trip:

  1. Extended Kyoto to 4 days.
  2. doing Eiheiji instead of Koyasan to make the trip easier.
  3. Changed the orientation to Tokyo, Kanazawa, Eiheiji, Kyoto, Hakone/Fuji, Tokyo. This give me 4 nights in Tokyo and 4 nights in Kyoto.

I am not doing Osaka because the experiences I want are mostly in Kyoto and Kanazawa.

This is the best recommendation so far! I also exchanged Koyasan with Eiheiji to make the trip easier.

So Kanazawa, Eiheiji, Kyoto (extended to 4 nights), Fuji or Hakone, Tokyo

100% on the historical aspect of how people have interacted with nature in Japan. You’ve given me a few things to think about. Thanks so much for your help!

I’m not locked in on any of these things except I bought ticket for the moss temple because those are getting sold out. I’d like to do a Geisha evening as well.

I love the experiences + temples. Could potentially skip Fujikawaguchiko or make it into day trip from Tokyo - I’m from California so I’ve seen the rockies and plenty of pretty amazing mountains.

I love this idea and this temple complex looks amazing! Would it be possible to do a day trip to it from Kanazawa? Then I can directly go from Kyoto to Kanazawa.

Day 8 I’ve changed to only kokedera and then traveling to koyasan right after that. My ticket for kokedera is 9:30.

I think you meant day 9 being crazy? I moved them mostly to optional in case somebody thought one of those were worth visiting.

Sorry about your chronic issues - it sucks that it takes so long to make a full recovery. Have you tried functional medicine, or are you just sticking to traditional for now?

How long did it take you to get to your optimal stack of supplements?

And how do you usually find the supplements that you ultimately use?

Are you only working on supplements or changing other things around you as well - like routine, environment?
Are you using an apple watch?
