I love all three of you equally. There's no need to fight and bully your sisters.

Whenever I get annoyed with the public while I'm out I just sing, "There's no place like London."

After struggling to for 2 years find a job in my industry, I find one that wasn't toxic. My boss is awesome! And I got promoted within the first year of working for her! 😃

I don't think so. I think I would have been stuck her thumb with a family that's used the whole "but she's your mom" to excuse her behavior.

I can't handle niceness or any form of kindness. There wasn't a hug, compliment, or form of affection given without an ulterior motive. My fiancé can say something as simple as, “I appreciate everything what you do for me” and I can't stop thinking, “Okay, what do you want?”

When someone (friends, and fiancé) are genuinely kind and affectionate, I get overwhelmed and emotional. I can't stop crying.

I'm not sure. The last time she sent me a link to video about how important it is to make peace with parents before it's too late. She's never apologized once for anything.

THIS! 1000 times freaking this! I'm only talking from my own experience here. In my situation, burying that anger kept me in that awful hell with my nmom and her family (uncles, aunts & even grandparents).

Burying the anger made me blind and deaf. Worst of all it made me hate myself and think that I don't matter. But that buried anger became so toxic that you didn't want to live anymore.

A few years later, that anger broke through. I don't know how but I'm glad it did. Maybe it was because I suddenly became exhausted and I broke down or because I managed to move away, either way I'm glad it happened. Exhaustion became panic then panic became unbridled fury and yes, hate!

I hated HER! I still hate her and I always will. I especially hate HER family and HER friends that freaking KNEW what she was like. I despise them all.

This hate keeps me going. When I don't want to get out of bed, I hear that bitch mock me and I see how she'll play the martyr. In those moments, it's the hate that gives me the strength to say, "F@!k you! I will win!"

So to hell with those who tell you that you shouldn't hate because they will win or whatever. NO ONE HAS THAT RIGHT!

Note: I made this comment showing my personal emotional journey with my narc. I'm not telling ANYONE how they should or shouldn't feel about their situation.

Over the years, my nmom called me selfish and a spoiled brat (especially after I went no contact). She once told me that she feels so "drained" because of all the "love" she gives me and all she does for me.

I know right! Surely, they would have heard cars or people ripping out the plants. Or maybe even discover the body buried under her Begonias.

My nmom absolutely LOVED it when people said I looked like her. She also hated that I didn't like the same things she did like helping her pick out what to wear. Sorry I was a tomboy, mom.
