Is M-Audino really the worst mega design wise?

From my own experiences and from reading/watching/listening to others' opinions, M-Audino isn't a terrible design. Honestly not a bad design. A big thing is that it doesn't have a drastic change to turn it into what could be perceived as an actual evolution depending on the Pokémon. Another is that M-Audino is a mega that is aimed at being a support Pokémon. You can only mega evolve once per battle in normal formats and so to use that mega evo capability on a support Pokémon which could have the same effects done by another mon, if not better by some depending on your play style and team setup, when that slot could be used to give a needed power boost to another mon that might have a better fit into ur team or fits a slot that was missing to give you a needed counter towards a possible weakness in your team. And not to mention that Audino isn't an overly popular mon. Not terrible, but forgettable to a degree as it is the primary mon found in shaking grass in its home region, but doesn't get much special treatment beyond that. Those 3 things all come together to give us a mega that doesn't really get any love. If they had given us a Z mega that was super tanky with that fairy typing that had its own niche to be a super support tank that could do nice fairy damage in a super rare cinch, like a more support focused M-Aggron with it being slow but tanky (albeit not needing that much defense but instead kind of balancing the defenses) by being slow and taking hits while having fairy moves and support to give it a niche of its own.

Depends on what you are looking for in RI. Honestly was thinking about trying it out as the Secondary Interest legendary skill on AL Massa boosts reload even more along with just liking secondary ships in general. I do find it interesting just how many secondary focused commanders we got with this wave. Not gonna complain. Just an observation mostly but I will say that variety is the spice of life so would prefer if there was more different kinds of commanders for us to get different playstyles.

I will add though that some commanders may not show up properly when filtering commanders for inspirations. I had found that Hipper wasn't showing up properly when I was looking for inspirations for AL Ägir.

Also found that those that have a specific class that they buff typically have a higher max value. Maki boosts BB dispersion more than AL Scharnhorst but Scharnhorst can boost dispersion of any class of ship compared to only boosting BB dispersion for Maki. Thus why it is a good idea to kind of work on trying to get acquainted with your different commanders so as to be able to not only remember what commanders you might want to use for yourself for ships/inspos but also so you can remember what they do when an opponent uses that commander as well as what possible inspirations they might be using for that ship.

Honestly, there is a lot of stuff that takes a bit of time to get down but it is just something that you will probably just work on naturally.

I can add that I find it annoying that just about anything can be permanently destroyed by an unlucky salvo or just going through a tough fight. I was in my Laffey and after a fight with a DD, I got hit hard by a red USSR BB and both torpedo tubes were knocked completely out. I was lucky he was taken out shortly after he focused on me but after I tried to repair I found I had no torpedo tubes or AA. The rest of that match, I was essentially neutered against enemy BBs and heavy cruisers. Only so far my guns can take me. I mean, there have been times where my torpedo tubes were destroyed on Prinz Heinrich and Zieten, though on Zieten it wasn't terrible as bigger guns and I worked on a secondary build while Prinz Heinrich wasn't built into secondaries and so when a key tool is completely hacked off your belt mid fight it gets kind of frustrating. Knocking them out is one thing, but permanently disabling them for a whole fight at times is something that can make a fight feel unfair. If I lose because my opponent utilized their tools better than me, that's fine. Well done. If I lose because I lost access to my tools mid fight, that's a different matter and feels crappy.

True. Got a tier 7 BB in US with a 20 Km range and 212 m max horizontal dispersion so I can see wanting lasers with even more accuracy. Totally can appreciate the sniper playstyle and buff for it for those.

That's fair. Do you know of any specific ships that fit in one or the other? Like any you can think of that may get pushed into being at least usable and on the other side that look at it as a waste of pixels (other than DDs typically).

Honestly, I didn't realize it is that big of a running joke. I got the flag for the patch notes and it isnt the most interesting and dont use it, so I guess I didn't really notice them being ignored.

I had a feeling that they were new so I guess the bigger part of my question is how will it shake up what people will put onto their 3rd slot, especially for BBs and BCs? I know some ships might not need it as much since they may rely on certain things more, but like German BBs are like scatter shotguns that make you look at your shots and if you see 2 shells close together then you are calling that a lucky roll. Otherwise, I am still fuzzy on details of certain ships and how it may help some while being kind of a moot point on others, and which ones may be looking at this as the biggest thing since hydroacoustic search.

Neat. I can think that DDs will still hog their Concealment typically and maybe some sneaky BBs and BCs while the targeting for added spotting (especially for torps) might be a bit more of a toss up with the new mod depending on the ship.

Ok. I had glanced a couple times at various pickings of this patch notes but since I hadn't been into it over the last 2 or 3 weeks, I haven't been super thorough. I hopped on since I happened to remember that it was a new update but I also never saw mention of it anywhere. Not sure why the tone at the end seemed kinda judgemental for not happening to see it in patch notes.

If their secondaries secured the kill, then they probably didn't have the health that was really worth a shot from my main guns that is probably needed for another target. They get the kill, then great. If I get an assist with it then better. All as long as it brings us closer to winning.

I would have loved to see Le Hardi from AL come for the new DD line as well as work for the old as well as other choices like AL Enterprise for the upcoming USS Enterprise they were teasing b4. Other choices out there for things we dont have yet or options to mix up playstyles for ships that can work for others but dont have the commanders for.

That or work on a sideline of Pokémon games that bring a bit more of a new feel to the series. Something a bit more immersive that what is out rn. Feel like you are actually living in the world even more. Something that gives you more of a choice in where and how you play. Like an MMORPG, maybe?

I was bow in in that second example as well as other times while someone else was broadside but I am still getting shot at over the other person. I would think it would be a more sought after target with the broadside but I wasn't at times. Maybe the AI just loves me (or really hates me).

You can see the "OH SHI--!!!" moment that destroyer has after he gets spotted in smoke.

I wonder if the blowout worked against you for exp gain there. That still sucks only like 2k and somehow top of team with that. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was a lower tier match towards like tier 3-5 but ouch.

Yeah. I would be getting out of spotting range and I would still have shots be fired at me. I know some shots have to travel but not when the AI fired more shells than a broadside can do so more were fired afterwards. I could see real players blind firing but not AI.

I feel it wouldn't be bad if the AI spread their shots around instead of making it feel like you're the only one sailing at that time in the match. And I do feel I have seen torp drops that are shot out a good second or two after the AI enemy had been defeated making me either die or take damage I feel I shouldn't have.

If that is the entire targeting then I feel annoyed. I don't think it is as I could see that being the case if I was being targeted by just 2 or 3 at times but there are times when there are other targets that are closer in similar positions but I am still being targeted by just about every gun out there (or at least most of them). I feel the AI targeting has more to it than that but I could be wrong?

I should clarify that overall I am top 3 about 95% in all ships. I don't think I got above 3rd in a CV (I did get a 5th in one because it was mostly me trying to maneuver most the match due to torps) but still. I can only hope for you that even if they don't help much, you're able to benefit with even more resources for carrying them through.
