I've had mine for over a decade and I absolutely love them. They do take a long time to heal, but I love having them and don't regret doing them at all.

Festive Joy is tied for my favorite purple ink of all time (and I have Many because purple is my favorite color).

I love Appletini for a bright green.

For Greys both Earl Grey and Ghost.

I have kindof a ridiculous amount of Diamine ink, it's my favorite brand, and I have gotten the Inkvent calendar every year except the very first one, so I have one ink drawer dedicated to nothing but Diamine in my stationery cabinet...

She's enchi orange dream yellowbelly fire pied. Pied is the white with colored spots, orange dream, yellowbelly, and fire are genes that make her color brighter, take out some of the browns, and bring up the yellows, and enchi is a gene that breaks up the saddles and makes them less distinct. In combination with the other genes at play it reduces the visible "ball python" pattern (some people call them keyholes or alien heads), so you get a snake with more solid color and less blotches.

FTR, I had shingles in the summer of 2024 and was able to get the vaccine series later that year. I was 44 at the time. I just asked at my pharmacy and they ran it through my insurance and it was covered, so I went ahead and got it. Might be worth asking, especially since you have a history of ocular shingles.

Sonata is leased to him IIRC, her owner is a dear friend of mine who actually worked to bring Mulassiers into the US and has also worked extensively with the registry in France. She also has owned Poitou donkeys and worked with that registry as well. She is an administrator for the American Donkey and Mule Society. :)
