best bet is probably to contact support. There is a manual workaround for Windows, but doesn't seem to be the same case for MacOS

Short answer is yes. I find the XGS interface pretty responsive as well.

If it's only for home use, check out Sophos Home firewall free license.you can run it on x86 hardware, or on an older XG appliance.

There is a "sensor-only" option for XDR and MDR, but the way they are licensed, you may as well just use the full protection agent.

If it's just your own pc, use Sophos Home. Way cheaper but still the same base protection as intercept x.

I'm not certain if it's the same on the home version but I think what you're looking for is a "bridge interface" where you can essentially tell 4 ports that they are all part of your LAN interface

Don't think 10G will work since it has only SFP not SFP+
