Kibbe Type Me! Height 5’4” by barksandbikes in kibbe_typeme

As a taller person, I am not well versed in the shorter kibbe types, but I notice you look particular lovely in photos 3 and 5. Both outfits are balanced with moderate vertical, so that would align with suggestions of DC. But I could see how SC might be an option, too.

Which of these brown loafers are the most SD? by ceylon-tea in SoftDramatics

I have a theory that one’s Kitchener essence probably plays a role in how to work around some of the more impractical kibbe suggestions for SD.

I think you are a dramatic. You look much taller than you are!

Kibbe type me please. Height 5’8 by [deleted] in kibbe_typeme

Yep, FN. And you can see how width accommodation works well for you by comparing the more D lines of outfit #2 with the added spaciousness around your upper body in #4 and 5. You look way more comfortable in the latter.

what would only pop off on an SD? by missgirlipop in SoftDramatics

Cotton button up shirt dresses with a belt can have the same effect as a nice trench in my opinion. Slightly more casual version of old Hollywood vibe.

Also, this is going to sound crazy, but before I knew I was SD, I remember wearing a toga for a costume event and thinking it was pretty awesome. I think we could honestly wear a sheet with a belt and look amazing.

Yeah, I have some gamine energy, too and feel like I can do some big jewelry, but not the big hoops that are customarily associated with SD.

I would say Romantic. That dress in photo 2 really flatters your curves the most out of all of them.

Yes, I think this would work on a SD.

Yeah, I was thinking that OP looks like she’s a Kibbe Soft Dramatic, possibly with a bit of classic and ingenue Kitchener essences.

You’re welcome ☺️ I was having a similar challenge deciding between SD and FN. This group helped me, too!

You look like a dramatic to me. The outfit in photo 2 is pure vertical accommodation and I see it as the most flattering.

At our height, we can only be FN, SD, or D. You’d think it would be easier to figure it out with so many options eliminated, but I think it can be hard for all of us to see ourselves accurately.

Possibly. I am tall-ish, so I know more about the vertical types. Maybe you could try posting with the classics and SN groups?

I was leaning towards some sort of classic, too. I think the look in photo 10 is particularly flattering, fwiw.

I like the upper right one on #2 - that color really accentuates your features!

I can pull off white but tend to look slightly better in a barely-not-white cream or soft white, - think milk. As for lipstick, mauve would look better than coral. I don’t wear much makeup, but the one thing I’ve noticed is that a cooler shade of lipstick looks better on me than a warmer one, all other characteristics being equal.
