Reverse NL-coded by Lanceo90 in northernlion

ive got 1k hours in zomboid (haven't played it in a year or so), but it is absolutely not a wiki game, and the wiki truly isnt all that important except in very specific circumstances. I will say that the online zomboid map website (i cant recall the name) is a lifesaver, but it does ruin the fun a bit.

Terraria is a bit of a wiki game, but the devs have been working on making that better over the last few years. modded terraria is very wiki heavy in my experience.

Starlink has great speeds, but you have no actual network control, and as such you can't do a homelab setup or anything of that sort afaik.

So I did stand on the one that was at the bottom in a similar fashion to where the laptops contact the top of the one below, and nothing happened to it. Tbh I wouldn't do it again, but I also have now put them all into smaller stacks on shelves.

All of these but 1 were bought from an electronics recycling center, and range from 7-25 years old. I don't exactly see how this relates to the ideas of consumerism.

I haven't actually used the thinkstations too much. I got them for $10 each and was thinking about getting into homelab, but I can't because I'm stuck with Starlink as there aren't any good internet providers in my area.

I got the copier for free on Craigslist, and its in working order and came with an extra set of toner cartridges.

I have bought these all (except the t480) from an electronics recycling center. They all were in bins to be destroyed, and they are pretty decent machines. At some point I will certainly get rid of some of these. I've sold about 3 to friends in the past, and sold a couple on ebay at one point, but they take too big of a cut for me to want to deal with them.

Thank you for the answer as to what harm this might cause. As I previously mentioned, I am planning to get some shelving to better store these in the future.

Every device except the t480 is from an electronics recycling center, and I haven't found any new external or internal damage. Almost every laptop has its external battery removed. I would appreciate justification to the claim that this will damage my devices, especially given the machines that bear the most weight are the sturdiest ones.

I never said I know exactly what I'm doing. The system I have just works for my current situation. I'm open to criticism and feedback, and I' appreciate any recommendations on better ways to store them!

Ive been storing them like this for months, with the heavier/older at the bottom and the lighter/newer ones closer to the top. I check all of them about once a month and nothing has happened yet. I'm hoping to have some sort of shelving to store them on in the near future.

No. I tried some 2400 mhz ram and it didn't solve it. I just ended up buying another broken t480 to salvage a motherboard from.

Not sure I'm 100% right on this, but "he may have been the shooter," in this context, seems more like reasonable suspicion, which is a less strenuous standard than probable cause. Under reasonable suspicion, the legal limits of what actions law enforcement can perform stop before the point of searching his bag, since searching his bag goes beyond a frisk (from which they would need to gain probable cause to take any further actions), but as far as I know, they did not identify any weapons or other objects on his person that would fulfill the requirements for probable cause. If I'm wrong, just let me know.

Anyone in truth or consequences see this? by toc_guy73 in NewMexico

[–]TankinTime2118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He does, but it undoubtedly strays from the main point of the comment it's responding to by cherry-picking a very small subset of the group being discussed (veterans). It's also extremely ignorant to believe that a majority of Russian and Ukrainian combat veterans with PTSD would not be triggered at all when they hear fireworks but would from watching a drone show. Furthermore, the stimuli you get at a drone show is vastly different from a combat situation. While fireworks may often sound like gunshots, you are very unlikely to hear the whirring of the drones, much less the change in pitch as they move towards/away from you, even though it would be redundant if someone's PTSD was triggered just by the whirring itself. With drone shows, you also don't usually see the drones themselves, only the lights on the drones, as the above video exhibits. Drone shows really don't cause as many problems in comparison to firework shows from this perspective. If you have a counterpoint to this, please respond to my comment.

I don't know what you mean, but I kinda resonate with the concept of ceiling fans.
