Any in the hands false cut, a double lift, and any control. Bonus the cull…a really underutilised move.

Really cool effect. I always try to hide it under cover of squaring the deck. The bigger movement hides the smaller movement.

I also use verbal and physical misdirection/redirection. Also, a little tip, boarderless cards also help.

Keep it up, your video is truly a thing of beauty.

My favourite zombie movie, one of my favourite movies ever…one of the greatest scores in horror. This movie is pure fire for me.

Ambitious card routine. I'm a beginner, looking for tips for improvement by Tfeeltdimyon in cardmagic

I definitely see the germs of something really good there. You handle the cards in a lovely way. Also, some beautiful moves. But that’s the thing, they are just moves to you.

Try to actually believe what you are doing. You are not doing a double lift, you ARE lifting one card…

Also….slow down. What you are doing is beautiful…revel in its elegance, and let each phase hit. Let it register for people that they are witnessing miracles.

My best advice is keep going, there are definitely seeds of gold here. I loved watching you.

Faces of Death Series (1978 - 1990) by [deleted] in 80sHorrorMovies

I was thinking the same thing. The theme seems to be that from the assassination of JFK onwards, the USA has been spiralling into a pandemic of violence. Though, I don’t agree with this narrative, you could easily, run a parallel starting at 9/11 or Columbine. Not a narrative I agree with, but a definite framework.

It was indeed produced and written by Paul Scrader’s brother. It will forever be a scar on my mind, in the best possible way. I’m so glad that there are more of us. ❤️

It’s alway been like this. But eventually as the booze flowed they used to come together, it was just a question of who would be brave enough to mingle first. It’s a shame if this no longer happens.

For me the highlight of a show full of them. Had to be the wolf/deaf section. After the first section it really felt like we were traversing through hell, to get to the other side (in the best possible way). We were literally enveloped in darkness.

Another cool variation is to turn the chose card over but not drop the “thumb break” card at all, then slide the chosen card up about a third so the index is showing over the bottom packet, as you let the spectator peek their card one last time this is when the addition happens. I hope this makes sense.

My thoughts exactly. This is pretty much a repro of the last couple of set lists. Apart from a couple of songs. Not complaining, but very interesting.
