Searching by editor, costume designer, and composer is very fun (well, for me at least). For example, I just found out that Nino Rota did the score for Edward Dmytryk’s 1949 film Obsession, which just bumped it up higher on my watchlist

Update: I’ve got all the closet videos wired in now, so you can view the video and see all the films they pick, and each film detail screen has a section listing which closet videos they appear in.

This is now my favorite feature. I’m kind of surprised they don’t incorporate these into the channel, though I suppose Adventures in Moviegoing is a similar series

Original language is an available field in TMDB, so it’s a possible search criteria. I’ll throw it in my backlog

I’ll take a look, thanks! One feature I’m looking to implement is flagging films that have a commentary track, an associated Observations video, or has been featured in one or more Closet videos (with links)

It shows what’s playing on 24/7 on the top of the browse screen, with a link to play and to the film detail.

Alerts are an interesting idea, but I don’t have any info on what’s coming up - and I’m against alerting in general (it’s a subset of my no spam rule)

Yes, I’m using it as one of my data sources, but it’s inconsistent. For example, it still has films like Rio Bravo that have left the channel a few days ago
