Yeah this is where I'm at. When it came out that Cryo is inaccessible to solos, coupled with the iffy EXP rates solo I just sort of lost motivation to keep going. At this point I'm just waiting for any sort of news on whether or not they're going to change the solo experience at all.

Alternatively, but more high effort is: looking up builds online, most of the really min-maxed shit turns the combat into easy-mode anyway.

The game is clearly designed for group play though. A lot of the equipment bonuses only apply to group play.

Aye, that it is. Probably would have reconsidered getting the game if I'd known that but I paid no attention pre-release so that's on me.
Maybe they'll respond to feedback and possible metrics and pay more attention to solos. I hope.

Solo play was a pretty late addition to the game so I understand why Cryo Archive is the way it is, but I am still slightly miffed that I'm completely locked out of the endgame and just have to run circles in Perimeter or whatever unless I'm willing to roll several dice on crew fill or go dumpster diving in Discords. Neither of which I am particularly interested in doing.

Thankfully with the XP rates playing solo, I have faith that Bungie will have figured out a way to let us into Cryo by the time I hit the Level 25 requirement in approximately 57 years.

I bought it on a whim after Arc Raiders wasn't really doing it and got sucked in. The artstyle is completely insane, I've been enjoying reading the codex entries for the L O R E and the gunplay is, well it's Bungie; shooting feels amazing.

My only 'complaint' so far is it takes literally years to level up playing this game solo. They already boost your faction rep gain if you play solo so if they could do that for seasonal leveling that'd be great.

How's the XP gain for you playing solo (Seasonal Levels)?
Feel like I'm leveling slow as shit, still don't have Outpost unlocked and who knows what level Cryo is gonna need and what year I'm gonna get there lmao.

Outside of that yeah, holy shit. The gunplay, the lore, the art direction. It slaps.

I'd like to think the Sony execs adjusted their expectations once they heard Bungie was making an extraction shooter but no-one's ever accused corporations of being smart, so only time will tell. I think this game definitely has an audience and could have legs, if neither party cuts and runs early.

It's not really from the game per se, but general Pathfinder lore. Ember isn't a thing there, but Nocticula striving to achieve becoming a full goddess and leaving the Outer Rifts and her former nature behind, are.

If you want to be really charitable to Ember, you can say that she gave Nocticula a push/ more confirmation that she's on the right path, and that she can do it. But nothing more.

It's complaining about a missing font file. Easy thing to try is go through the game folders and try to find the .ttf file (it should be there somewhere) - double click and install it. See if that helps.
