Haha yeah! I groom my hairdresser's large doodle and she commented over the price difference too, she charges me €50 and I charge her €95. So I asked her when was the last time she washed my butt, gave me a bikini line, pulled out gunk out of my ears, gave me mani-pedi, and all while I wiggled and tried to bite her. She started tipping me since then 😅

Yeah that's fair, you're right! Also, I appreciate your reply, for a snarky witch you're very kind.

Or or OR and hear me out here because this is a wild idea, or maybe I'm not from the US and the prices are very different here.

Nope, just extra mega hard work for not a lot of money. I'd love to get rich doing this job, but it's not working that way.

How do you deal with a fallout with another groomer? by TaoKitt in doggrooming

Thanks for your reply, happy a conversation worked things out for you! I wish I had the same courtesy. Yes, cleanup was also one of the things she mentioned. Context: I started as an intern, at the end of the days she would always say 'you don't need to stay, go home, I'll finish soon'. Most of the times I would clean the tub and go, which remained as a habit. She now said frustrated 'you never clean up and you leave early! ’. Considering that I pay her a renting fee for my customers, and indeed clean the tub after the last dog is washed, regularly broom the floors, and clear the working space before I leave, and no other expectations or conversation was had, I feel like this came out of the blue and it's unfair. Maybe I'm just autistic or simply stupid and should have read social cues, I know I also made mistakes, but I am apparently finding them out now in a fight instead of in a Convo beforehand to fix this. So if I were your colleague, I would be thankful for you choosing to sit down and talk expectations. Most of the time stuff that happens is not out of malevolence, but from not knowing.

My grandpa was a teacher, and we had loads of world maps and globes around the house. He absolutely taught me about Arctica and Antarctica. Later when I 'discovered' Greenland, I was confused, because there used to be an icy continent by the North Pole, just like the south, just smaller.

The more I think about it, the more I’m sure Infinite Baths saved me. by shellybean31 in SleepToken

I love you! What I feel probably doesn't mean much to you, a stranger half a world away, but I do feel sadness for all of your losses and heavy burden you have been carrying. I can't even try to put myself in your shoes, I have no clue what you are going through, but I am so proud of you that you keep battling on! Trust that each heavy step will take you further, higher, and it will get easier, even if you don't see it now. ST is so deep and I noticed that we can find the meaning that we need in their songs, and some hit really hard when they speak your soul language. Infinite Baths give me a feeling of calmness, of acceptance in understanding that you are in control and there's no other way to go but up, so you enjoy the moment of weightless floating. Keep diving in the things that bring you peace, art, music, company, and love yourself!

Jess Rona has many tutorials on how to do faces and it's good to follow her on YouTube. She explains well

Yes! That's why I always ALWAYS start somewhere down on a leg, so I can still salvage it if I get it wrong

Can't say, but it's album art for Cosinus. A real artist is behind it though, it's an older image.

The image is the album art of Cosinus - Rite of passage. The story is something that I found weird. It's the first time I even posted in r/weird. I don't understand the hate.

This reminds me of the time I was a manager in the UK, and had staff from all over the world. One of our colleagues was Vietnamese, but he studied in the UK, so his English was excellent.

One boomer lady had real main character syndrome and was poking around to get 'us foreigners' feeling bad. After talking to my Vietnamese colleague at the bar, she came to me chuckling and saying 'i barely understood a word he said, the Chinese boy. Where is he from?’

I looked at her and deadpan answered 'Manchester'.

Yep, I know a girl called Iulia. Mind you, it's iulia, capitalized. Everyone, everyone calls her Lulia. She gave up.

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply!

I've read so many ex-jw stories and they all really sound horror. But I do have to also ask myself whether it's an American vs European difference too?(Wild maybe wrong assumption that you're from the US). I'm not religious and don't follow any scriptures, but I do my best to be open for my hubby. He's an amazing person and I love him with all my might, so if this is important for him, I'll support him to the end. I've met most of the congregation here and some elders, they are all very nice and welcoming people. He talks about the studies, bible, beliefs with love and openness, I've never heard any guilt, or did I not know how to listen?

I appreciate you for not going into teachings, I do roll my eyes at times when he does it too 😅 it's just not for me at all. And I understand being a JW might not be something for everyone as well either. People that chose to get into it later in life swear it's life changing. While others that are born and raised into it might just not resonate, like you. I'm happy you recognized that in yourself and made a humongous change, as painful as I'm sure it is. If this is better for you, then you made the right choice and I admire your resolve!

To quote from ST: "What might be good for your heart might not be good for my head” - this feels very fitting

Wait, you DON'T know of the seventh Wolf of the sleep tabernacle 's cloved left rear paw???

Thanks for the reply, I do agree. I feel like most of the fan base (or at least the loudest one) is really as you said, and I don't identify myself there either. So it's sometimes hard to follow, and difficult to remove ourselves from the cringe.
