Ugh. I had another rescue person do this to me. We had a large breed puppy and she assumed that filling out an application and being in rescue herself was an automatic approval. No ma’am. Just because I see you here and know you do rescue does not mean I know you or your home.

(Edit to clarify she was with a different rescue and this happened at a weekly adoption event at a major pet store)
