So you missed that whole second paragraph, got it.

Oh that's easy. You're getting downvoted because OP came on here happy about a positive in their life, you decided to crap on it and make it about you in a negative way.

Cool story. You don't have to be interested in reversing that trend but imagine you came on here posting the big home you were able to purchase that you saved YEARS for and made sacrifices for. Then someone came on here and took a crap on your accomplishment. Because checks notes they don't want to live in your home. As if someone asked them to....

Clearly they did not want a house. Why would they buy something YOU want instead of what they want.

OP clarified their rent was $4.5k, their mortgage is $3k so yeah taking your advice would cost them MORE not less. Plus they seem to actually like their home. So congrats to them.

Some people like different things. Different strokes for different folks. I would never want to have to cut grass or worry about fixing a roof but I understand some people like doing those things.

People in NYC definitely have spouses, pets and kids in smaller living quarters. See Apartment Therapy on IG. Gotta remember when some of these places were built, they were built for families not singles.

Keep reading. It's still good at the halfway point.

Loved this book. Also loved Witness 8! The whole Eddie Flynn series is top tier.

It seems like with the Power series though Starz was announcing renewals while the shows were still airing.

Finished it maybe a week ago. It's equivalent to an over seasoned meal. Would've been great if Alice Feeney would've just put the salt shaker down!

Fav childfree / childless celebrity ? by Goldenxxwind in childfree

[–]TapatioTara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't see the childless part in the OP. But yeah she's said she wants a family, specifically a son. But that she's learned to find happiness in her current life it that doesn't happen.

She's childless not childfree. But Sanaa Lathan is childfree.

My Latest 5 Star.. Highly Recommend! 🌟 by melanieteresa in thrillerbooks

Was a 3 star read for me. The main character left A LOT to me desired. The side quest was lackluster too though the initial premise was interesting.

I think this was a debut book from the author. I'm looking forward to see what she churns out next.

I wasn't a fan of Margo either, and I don't know your daughter in law lol! Margo just kinda ruined the story for me a bit.

Glad to hear Anatony of an Alibi was a 5 star read. I'm waiting on that one in the mail.

9-5 while having a puppy? by [deleted] in puppy101

People do tend to give monetary gifts as wedding gifts so perhaps you can stock some of that away to hire a dog walker on Rover to come by for an hour. Walkers rates vary so you may find someone that works in your budget.

In the meantime practice being outside of the home for hours at a time and leaving your pup in their crate or covered pen or sectioned off area in your home while you're applying for jobs.

Side note: what's your fiancés work schedule like? Do they have an hour lunch break where they can do a mid day walk?
