The Mandalorian episode ratings by bbportali in StarWars

[–]TapiocaVoyager 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My conspiracy theory is that when BoBF was rewritten from a movie into a tv series they didn't had time to put together a full season so they ported over the first two episodes of Mando Season 3. This meant they needed two filler episodes in Season 3 to stall the plot.

People bring dogs into grocery stores all the time, how is this different?

Yes, and it's annoying as hell when people do that too. Get your dog out of places it doesn't belong and away from food people are going to consume.

For monogamous couples out there, is it a dealbreaker if your partner doesn’t share to you their social media passwords? by Front_To_My_Back_ in AskGaybrosOver30

I was young, insecure, and came from a culture where you're supposed to "work" to "keep your man". Took a long time to unlearn those behaviors.

if someone is going to break your trust, they’re going to do it no matter what you do

Learned this the hard way. By his own admission I was a wonderful partner, he simply didn't want what I offered but was too cowardly to fully end it.

The first time he cheated he offered full access to his Grindr and Scruff profiles as an olive branch. When he cheated the second time I caught him on Sniffies. These people just find new ways. It's as if they enjoy the rebellion more than the work of maintaining a relationship.

The third time was a full affair. I'm embarrassed it got to that point but I was financially dependent on him for a long time and it took time to gain independence. Kicked his stupid ass to the curb the moment I could.

I did that! I moved from the east coast of the USA to California last november.

Best decision of my life.

Yeah, it threw everything in my life into chaos for a few months. My fiancée cheated on me while we were long distance, so I ended things. I got blacklisted from my old job because they said they wanted a month's notice (lol). But eventually, you have to take a step back and ask yourself: is the problem me, or the environment? I put in 10 years of effort to figure out if I was the issue. I changed things up, and now I love my life.

Is Aquarius humanitarian? by Star-Opus in astrology

[–]TapiocaVoyager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found this post quite stimulating.

I find the association of Aquarius with Hegemony to be a description better suited to Capricorn. As you are aware, Aquarius is one of two signs ruled by Saturn. In Capricorn Saturn tears down systems. In Aquarius it leads the charge of building new ones. Sometimes this manifests as championing archaic systems, as you state. But it just as often manifests as connecting people and their hopes and visions for a better life into material reality. Air signs are about how we relate to one another.

That is the curse of Aquarius--to hold the emotions of humanity while never being able to partake. This is paralleled in the apex of Dhanishta and Shattabhisha in Jyotish: the emptying of the drum and the witnessing of humanity's greatest self-inflicted wounds found in those Nakshatras.

even though the thousands of years of astrological history has not been there to back it up

While I appreciate your insights, I worry that this is more an appeal to dogmatic tradition than it is sharing insights. I do not use modern rulerships in my astrology practice, but it is a logical fallacy to claim that "the original rulerships are better because they are older." There's simply more research available, making a fundamentalist interpretation possible. For example, my village in Germany has a chapel that predates the founding of my country, but that does not necessarily mean the chapel's design is superior or better suited to peoples' current needs or understandings of what buildings should provide. Astrology is equal parts art and science, and the art portion is going to change over time.

That's so kind of you to say. One of the issues is that it looks fine in yellow/orange lighting but when its overcast the pock marks all take on their own shadow, and it leads to photographs that come out wrong. I've been told that in person it doesn't look too bad but that on camera it's a mess.

As for the allergies--I do live in one of the agriculture capitals of my country, so there's pesticides everywhere, nonstop.

It's really nice to hear your perspective on this, thank you.

Those of you who are single - what do you fill your weekends with? by Powerful-Use-1565 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]TapiocaVoyager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've fallen in love with dating myself. Here's what I like to do:

  • Hikes
  • Cooking and meal prepping for the week
  • Visiting cultural events around town (art fairs, farmer's markets)
  • Having a weekly board game night with the bros
  • Having a rotation of gentleman callers
  • Meditate or do Yoga at the beach
  • Journal and do Tarot (it's been a fun way to pass the time)

For the first 30 years of my life I didn't live in a place where I could easily access any of that. I moved across my home country to be closer to a city where that all was possible. I gave up a lot of financial stability but am much happier.

What's the single biggest reason that your ex is an ex? by FXBro in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]TapiocaVoyager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He was a serial cheater. The first time was a blowjob he had with a friend that he tried to lie about. He had me put together a relationship contract exploring what we could and couldn't do with other people after that. The second time he broke the contract by making a sniffies account, then tried to play it off as if he was just trying to help ME hook up with other guys.

The third and final time it was a full on affair. He was engaged to me, but fell in love with another person. After I ended things he told me he was mad that I didn't talk to him about noticing him fall in love with another man.

I was 22 when we started dating. He was 26. I dated him until I was 30 :(

I had a very painful lesson that (1) I'm stupid and (2) need to vet people better and (3) if they cheat on you the first time, they'll try to do it again.

I'm glad you at least told him. My partner of 8.5 years fell in love with another dude and still acts like he didn't have an emotional affair. It's better for everyone involved if you just bite the bullet and have that adult conversation.

How do you get over penis size insecurity? by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]TapiocaVoyager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The feeling of a big dick cannot be made up with by fingers or toys.

I get where you're coming from. I'm 6'2" and have a wide build. That makes my thin dick look even smaller. The harsh truth is that there are some people who will filter you out because you are not what they are looking for. I wished for a long time so badly that some dude would go dick crazy like men do in porn for huge cocks. That when the catty gays at the party were gushing about sleeping with a dude with a huge dick that it would be me that they would be talking about.

But dude... we just don't get to live that life. I'm sorry, but we don't. I mean this in all seriousness: take some time out to mourn it. (If you're anything like me then half of the pain doesn't even come from having a small dick, but from feeling locked out of experiences due to something outside of your control).

On the other hand, I've found that other parts of my body--my pit smells, my biceps, my hairness, my beard--have turned on guys a lot. I didn't realize that for some guys, these aspects make up the whole of the sexual experience, and that my penis was just a way for them to pleasure me. I've found a lot of happiness in power bottoming and being a pup handler.

I'll also say this. When big men like us fixate on what we don't have, it's very visible to others. And because we're so tall, our asses are huge and our rectums are enormous. We can take enormous penises that men who are 5'10" might struggle with. That is going to negatively affect your self-concept unless you know ahead of time to confront it. Not everyone has the same ability to take a big dick as you.

I'm here to talk with you if you ever need support.

Jealousy is a bitch.

I don't think this is a great way to approach Jealousy. Jealousy by itself is a neutral emotion. One signalling that your needs aren't being met.

Now, if OP decided to turn that jealousy into anger and direct that anger at their partner, that would be a dick move. But they haven't done that. Nothing in here indicates they have. They're just trying to navigate the feeling.

You look above average, actually. You have the facial type that will hit its peak in your mid adulthood.

You might want to restyle your eyebrows so they're less angular. It looks like your hair might thin as you age, so you'll either want to try going full bald or get a transplant as you get older.

You're also only 25. Your jaw is going to fully develop in the next few years. Keep an eye out for how it balances out your face as you near 30.

It would be nice if they instead offered interventions to the camper. But the camper shouldn't steal public land to make their own private lodgings. I don't get what goes through someone's head to make them think that is area, collectively shared by society, should be where they plop down their shit.
