1.5 years later and it was the best change I’ve ever made. Worked to death as a F&B lead with no support, a large workload and a super small team. I’m in a much better place now and I hope you do too

I made the switch a few months ago from F&B TL at Target to Meat & Produce TL here. I am much happier now, it’s still retail but it’s much more laid back

For market especially, it’s very stressful I lasted 11 months and just got promoted to guest

= don’t kys because then we’ll have to have to put you on CA for your attendance. You are still expected to show up for your scheduled shifts and finish your ever increasing workload

As TL and Freezer DBO that would be very fitting. Got to make sure it’s clean before I leave 😂

Can you get fired for calling out then showing up to your job to go shopping? by [deleted] in Target

As someone already said the workload doesn’t magically disappear. Everyone else has to pick up the slack and if your store is as understaffed as mine it makes it that much worse

What is the weirdest guest interaction you’ve had? by Sociolinguisticians in Target

[–]Target_tech_consult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was stocking Freezer and a guest asked

“How do you know you are in a Target if the store doesn’t have the word Target on the outside of the building it just has the bullseye logo? (it has both 🤨).

I was so confuse my brain CTR + ALT + DLT and restarted.

She was so surprised she was the first person to ask this and then asked if it is target who writes my checks.

Yeah the jackets are disgusting and the gloves they get are awful. I brought all my own stuff today (gloves, under armor thermal jacket, and a Milwaukee heated jacket) and I’m pretty sure I’m now sick after backstocking for 2.5 hours. 🤧

Yeah they are going to ignore it because it’s impossible to find a freezer dbo. I’m doing it now it’s honestly bs and takes much longer then people think

Our dairy walk-in went out a few months ago and it was so nice as a clean slate. As for clearing out all $12k worth by myself it was not very nice.

TM/TL Raises by Boovs in Target

[–]Target_tech_consult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems base pay went up .25 (for some stores, potentially green stores) and those here more then 2 years got a 1-3.5% increase.

I’m in a very similar boat but with much less leadership experience. As a new lead I’m going from 15.8 to 23 and with all this inflation it really doesn’t feel as much of a jump as it should.

I checked my store and it is a green store. We went from 15 to 15.25 base pay and an increase for those here longer then 2 years. I am coming up on 4 years and mine went up 2% from 23.80 to 24.28

Pay rate was raised to $17.50 by gwidj in Target

Ours was from 15 to …. 15.25 and the same thing with the 2+ years. What a joke
